It was close to a victory. San Fran should have won.

Wacko Zacho It was close to a victory. San Fran should have won. I know this is why I dislike Favre. I hope he loses to his former team the PACKERS.

The niners are on the right track, they will win many more games, provided this defeat doesn't sink their morale.

Even in defeat, I think the 49ers have proven that they are a playoff caliber team.
Minnesota was a pick by many to be not on the NFC North division champions, but also the NFC representative for the Superbowl. Even though San Francisco's offense was slow to start, they played really well in the second half, showed versitility and that with Shaun Hill to Vernon Davis this offense has more dimensions to it than Frank Gore, and their Defense is one of the top 10 units in the league.
Glen Coffee is no Gore, but he still did a good job running the ball against an excellent Minnesota Defensive line. And despite the fluke plays, this was a very winnable game for the 49ers.
Even with the loss this team has proven it has playoff potential, if their Defense continues to play the level they are at, and the offense can be a little more consistant and hold out till Gore returns, I think they are the favorites as of right now to at least win the NFC West division.

Since Arizona lost to the Colts then, yeah the 49ers are at the top of their division. That can still change, but I'll be rooting for the niners.
As for the game - that last minute touchdown throw was SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!
