WoW! What a week in Football, and its not over yet with the Colts vs. Dolphins tonight, but quite a few things suprised me yesterday.
1. The rebound of the Bengals, Texans, and Bears- I didn't expect any of these teams to win this week. The Bengals crushed a very powerful Green Bay offense, the Texans came back from a 21-7 deficit to beat the defending AFC South champion Titans, and the Bears with Jay Cutler bounced back from their bad showing in week 1 to beat the defending Superbowl champions. There were others like the Cardinals getting back on track and the Jets pulling a huge upset over New England, but the Bengals, Texans, and Bears game were the most impressive... yet the only game I was able to watch yesterday was Oakland at Kansas City ;_;
2. Individual performances- Ray Lewis had what some sports writers are already claiming to be his greatest play of his career with his success in shooting the gap and stopping the Chargers on 4th and 2 to win the game. Frank Gore becoming only the second player in NFL history to have two touchdown runs from at least 79 yards in the same game. Kurt Warner setting an NFL record for highest pass completion percentage in a game, (93% completing 24 of 26 passes) And so much more. If this is just a taste of what's to come, then this season will be an awesome one.
Thoughts and comments on an excellent week 2?

The Pats were really bad. All around bad. Hope that can change soon. I'm pretty sure that there are people doubting the Pats. We need a rebound win next week against the Falcons.

Not a single mention of how Jake Delhomme rebounded from a five turnover embarrassment, and only ended up with one INT that wasn't even his fault, or how the Panther's almost forced an OT in Atlanta after the Eagles had their way with them? No mention of how the Saints a** raped the Eagles?
This is rigged. SHENANIGANS!!!

... and to cap it off, the Colts needed less than a quarter's time to beat the Dolphins... unbelievable. I thought the Dolphins played an almost perfect game and should have won this game....but Peyton Manning. woa. amazing.

Yeah the Colts didn't win that game. Almost had another upset. Ginn should have made the catch.

If I were to of brought them up, then no one would have anything else to bring up.
Doesn't mean the improvement of Jake Delhomme, all be it in another loosing effort, or how the Saints demolished a McNabbless Eagles team weren't amazing. Just thought I let other people have some thunder to spread around.

Kenny Phillips was having a beast of a season so far. On pace for his first Pro Bowl. But unfortunately, the Giants announced that he will be place on the IR, and miss the remainder of the season. gonk
...Add that to Jay Alford and Andre Brown being out for the season, as well as a ton of other injuries for the Giants. stressed
