Once again talks have started to determine who will be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio next year. Today a list of 131 candidates have been announced, this list will be narrowed down to 25 in November, and then down to 15 in January, with the final vote coming in Feb. 6th, just 1 day before the Superbowl.
The top two candidates leading the pack this year are Jerry Rice and Emmit Smith.
No doubt both of these men will eventually end up in Canton, whether it be this year or later, but from the list so far they are the two most likely candidates to be inducted next year.
Others on the list include Tim Brown, Herschel Walker, Chris Carter, and former NFL commissioner Paul Taglibue.
