Zombieland and Pandorium.
To, me, they're ripoffs of L4D. Pandorium looks like a smoker and hunter combined. And the first zombie in the Zombieland trailer looks like a boomer. Also, in Zombieland, theres a cowboy, that could fill Bills role, that teenager could fill Francis, and the girl could be Zoey.
Plus, are we gonna use that Guild Announcement thingy for Newsletters?

I still want to see Zombieland, knockoff or not. It is possibly the Second zombie movie I'll be able to watch in my lifetime without chronic nightmares. Although I'd like to see Left 4 Dead too, just to watch it.
Basically, my zombies need to be laughed at. ^_^

My boyfriend doesn't wanna see Zombieland because it's supposed to be a comedy but I think the trailer looks good. Pandorum is not about zombies, so you can't really compare it to l4d.

Pandorum its supposedly about deep space paranoia. Where you get zombies from that beats me.

L4D is a ripoff its self and how does a comedy based in a post zombie world compare to a gritty survival story. Or either of those to Fido, dawn/land of the Dead, Zombie Diaries, Shawn of the dead, undead, night of the living dead, Dead rising, or any other zombie movie ever. It has zombies, and there isnt much story telling beyond zombies eating people.
Also Pandorum would be closer to Dead Space because its done in space. Crew members going crazy in space is a tale as old as science fiction. Space/Moon Madness.

Iunno.. Been doing pretty badly on the "watching movies" portion of my life.
L4D and RE, frankly I loved both.
I don't give a rat's a** if it's a rip off or not, that doesn't mean it's automatically gonna suck.

Zombieland is SUPPOSED to be a comedy. Another zombie comedy. I'm going see it because usually the mix of comedy and zombies makes a good product.
Pandorum looks lame.
