I've always wanted to know the rules and stuff about football, but i was never able to figure it out. So since I love the internet and gaia, I thought I should learn about it over the internet with my fellow gaians. I'd appreciate it if you guys helped me to understand the game.

Okay. The basics, if you don't already know. A touchdown is worth 6 points. A kick into the Field Goal, the big, rectangle looking thing, after a touchdown is made, is worth 1 point. A safety is worth 2 points. A safety is when the Defense tackles one of the Offensive players into the End Zone. The Defenses team gets those 2 points. And a field goal made if you don't get a Touchdown is worth 3. Those are the basics.

KTS Itachi-Uchiha-Sama00 Ha, your wrong. It's 120 yrds if you count the end zones. =p but people never count the endzones 3nodding Yes they do. They count it if it is an INT/return, Punt Return or a Kickoff Return. So they really do. Lito Sheppard and Ed Reed both had 109 yd INT/returns before.

I thought it was 109. I know that at one time Lito Sheppard had a 109yd return. Maybe it was a fumble recovery. I guess I will have to look it up. I do know for a fact that Lito is the only player to have 2 returns of 100+ yds.

He had a return for 99yds once. Only Sheppard and Reed have two 100+yd returns for TD's.
