 Luna yawned as she walked along the river. It was pretty late, and she thought about going home. She shrugged her sleepiness off and kept walking. It had been a very beautiful night, and she had been walking around all day. She yawned again.
" Ooof. I'm beat.. " She said, slumping down, getting a drink of water.

It was getting late, the moon was lready high in the sly, with no traces of sun left anywhere. Danae sighed to himself as he trotted along the River. He had to get back to his Teepee before Koko and Edel began to worry about him too much. He wished he had a mother who didn't worry to much, Edel just tried too hard.
He was lost in his thoughts so that he didn't even notice the filly at the water's edge until his plowed right into her and they both toppled into the shallow water right at the shore. "I'm so sorry! I was just trotting a little too fast." He smiled kindly to whoever he had pulled into the water with him.

"Oh no that's okay!" She said, getting to the river's edge, climbing out, blushing for she should have known to be more careful. It wasn't something you really -felt- when you just got pushed into a river, but Luna didn't get mad. She was to sweet for that.
" Are you okay?" She asked, not caring if she was hurt. It made her worry about others when something like this happened.

Danae climed out after the filly, and shook his short fur dry. "Nothing I can't handle." He smiled, he was half uni after all. He could heal any small injuries he received. He noticed that the filly he'd ran into was also a Uni, though more then likely she was full blooded, when he carried some of his mother's mutant traits in him. His tail flicked nervously behind him.
"My name's Danae by the way. I was attempting to make it back to the teepee before anyone got to worried about me missing." His smile was dazzling as he explained his reason for running so fast. If seemed lately he was having all kinds of surprising encounters.

She smiled. "I'm Luna. It's very nice to meet you Danae." She said, in the cute voice she had. She blinked a bit, as she walked back over to the water, looking into it. She noticed a scuff on her forehead. "Well that won't do." She said, usuing her healing powers to heal the wound.
"So what were you doing out here Danae?" She asked him, politely, yet timidly.

"Well, I was exploring a bit and got a little too far away from home. We live all the way at the edge of the forest so, yea." Danae sighed, it was already too late, he could picture his mother's worried face already. Too bad she was worrying for nothing. He was always perfectly fine, he hadn't found himself in any trouble yet.
"What could you possibly be doing out so late?" Danae asked, looking up at the moon. Yup, it was definitely too late. He might as well stay out as late as he wanted now.

Luna blinked. " I couldn't sleep. So I took a walk by the River." She smiled, and started to giggle softly. " Why so curious all of a sudden?" He didn't seem to interested in asking questions before. She felt like she was the center of attention. Oh wait. She was.

Danae shrugged his shoulders as best he could.He wasn't terribly interested, he just had nothing better to do now that it was past his curfew. His mother would lecture him for an hour now no matter how long it took him to get back to the teepee. He might as well have a little fun while he could.
"Nothing really, I was simply curious, it's my nature." He kept his bright smile on his face and looked out at the dark water. He trotted into the shallow water up to his knees and sighed with relief, he hadn't realized how tired he'd been until the cold water brought him back into his full awareness.

Luna sighed, looking at him. He was part uni too. "What're you doing out so late anyways?" She asked him, blinking to remember what she was thinking. Oh yeah, part Uni. She smiled. She'd met another friend!
She smiled, but soon stopped. "Danae? Are you tired?" She asked him, question in her voice and eyes. She idn't want him to fall asleep before he was home. "Come on. I'll help you get home or something."

"Already answered that~" Danae said, flicking his tail over the water's surface to wake him up a bit. The chill did the trick and he was bouncy once again. He wadded out of the water to stand beside Luna. "You really don't have to walk me all the way home. Edel and Mel will deal without me for one night. Where do you live? I'd be more then happy to escort you there." He winked to Luna and waited for her to give him some kind of direction to her teepee.

Luna smiled and shook her head. "I live that way" She said, pointing west. She felt a bit dumb, knowing she'd asked that question, and he pointed it out. Oh well. She'd get over it. She blinked a few times before starting. "Oh no, it's no trouble." she smiled
"You know Melody?" She asked him, blinking. Melody was one of her friends, and she had no clue he lived with her.

Danae followed her direction so he was looking out toward the west. Not terribly far he hoped. It was only leading him further away from home. But, he'd deal. Or well, his mother would have to deal. He rather enjoyed getting away from her for a night. "Yes, Melody is one of three other soquili who live with Koko." he though fondly of the Indian who took care of them.
"Anyway, let's get you home!" He smiled and set off in the direction she had directed them in.

Luna smiled, and started trotting along side Danae. " You don't have to take me home ya know?" She said, smiling still. "But thank you." She nodded in appreciation. "I Really appreciate it."
