When you say you like Pride and Prejudice, are you referring to the book, the movies (and if so, which one(s)), or just the general story?

Kyrena Kalakali When you say you like Pride and Prejudice, are you referring to the book, the movies (and if so, which one(s)), or just the general story? I love the book primarily but i also love the A&E mini series! Colin Firth will always be my Mr. Darcy!

And that's because he is the only Mr. Darcy worth speaking of!!! xd

angel_of_joy Music (especially Jazz and Theater) etc. So you like the theater. Have you see The Scarlet Pimpernel or Bat Boy? They are by far my absolute favorite plays ever! But they're not very popular and so its kinda hard to find other people to chat with about them. And I agree, the A&E P&P was by far the best. (Its such a shame the A&E Scarlet Pimpernel was s**t! crying )

I try to introduce as many people as I can to these two great plays because they're so under appreciated.

The Vivisectionist QUESTION: i believe that the BBC 5 part series of pride and prejudice was much more gratifying, especially with colin firth as mr. darcy however i've heard of people liking keira knightly better as elizabeth. WHAT IS UR OPINION? i personally didn't like Keira as Elizabeth at all. i found that in the BBC series the woman playing Elizabeth had far more expression and wit when delivering many of Elizabeths lines. i think from my interpretation of the book that she captured the character of elizabeth nearly perfectly where as Keira was just to angsty and whiny for my liking. i did not think there was enough joy in Keira's performance as there was in the other womans interpretation of Elizabeth and in the book Jane comes out and says that Elizabeth is a playful. witty. energetic person and i just didn't get that from Keira.
