Behemoth laughter hollered from a sharply red headed woman as she stared at the young boy in front of her. "Haha!" she cried out, not able to hold in the humor she found in what he was wearing. Kizoku shrilled up, stamping his foot in protest to his mother's laughing tone. "Goodness, mother!" he cried with a frown. "Be more serious about this!" Gedda just whipped her eye, light giggles escaping their way out of her mouth as she tried to calm herself down. "Fine, fine..." she muttered with a heavy sigh to pressure down the second wave of laughs that wanted freedom. "It's too big..and too magenta. Pick something else."
Letting out a heavy sigh, Kizoku slipped the horrendously flamingo colored suit back onto its hanger. "I thought we were suppose to be shopping from windows, not trying things on..." spoke Kizoku as he stared back at Gedda. She just shrugged. "I did say we would go window shopping, but I did not say that I wasn't going to make you try things on. We need a suit for you after all." Kizoku sighed again. "But the wedding isn't until next week..." spoke the pocky boy. "Why can't we just-" Hesitating before continuing his speech, Kizoku watched as Gedda pulled his hair back and tied it up into a very tiny and loose ponytail.
"Gah, I couldn't take it any longer." whined Gedda as she wrapped the rubber band round and round. "Your hair looks better tied up. Don't you know?" Kizoku shrugged. "Why can't I be in the company of someone much more intelligent...?" he questioned to himself as Gedda turned and dragged him away out of the store. "Okay, we will cover more ground if we split up. You take the first half of the mall and I take the other. Got it?" Gedda commanded as she ushered Kizoku away. "Go on, get."
Feeling his eyebrows furrow, Kizoku began his trek. He was apparently abandoned now and that irked him quite a lot. However, he had a duty to complete. "Time to find decent formal wear." nodded Kizoku to himself as he began venturing.

Vanleia was dressed in casual clothing today since she wasn't on the job and was glad for it. Everyone loved to have those lazy days where you could roll out of bed, pull on whatever, and be on their way. Today was one of those wonderful days and it showed. Shorts that fell to just above her knees, a crop top that showed off her belly button ring and the tattoo that went across her lower back, her rainbow colored hair was up in a lazily done bun, and she was wearing flipflops on her feet. All of it was slightly wrinkled but well loved clothing.
At her side was her new... son? It was a strange thought to suddenly find herself with a child, one that sprung forth from candy no less. Let that be a lesson to people about not buying candy from men that were to good looking and not to weaken in ones diet either. 'Special' Candy was apparently code word for 'Child Bearing Candy'... something unexpected but ah well, her boss strangely didn't seem to mind when she showed up to work the other day with a kid in tow... then again Rosa had two little ones of her own.
"So little Ai, what do you think we should do today?" She asked, they were in the shopping district in one of the best Malls they had. It was one of her favorite places to go on her off days to find new, pretty things to wear, good food, fun and interesting people.
The boy was busy looking around at everything around him, tucked close to her side though she could tell he was torn between shyness and wanting to run ahead to get a closer look at things. He was a cute little thing, smiled a lot, blushed a lot, seemed to love everything and hate nothing. Such a sweet boy... she wondered if it had to do with the fact that he came from a candy that was called Wedding Chocolate or something like that. Must be, it made sense to her mind after all.
"Ai?" She murmured, giving him a little nudge with one of her hips to get his attention.
The boy blinked a couple times as though just realizing that she was talking with his and his light colored cheeks pinkened a bit, "S-Sorry... everything is so pretty!" He told her, sounding a little breathless and very delighted.
She gave a nod of agreement, "That it is." She said, looking around before smiling, "You can go ahead if you like, just stay within seeing range, alright? Surely you don't wanna hang out with your Mom? That can't be fun."
Ai looked shocked,"Oh! No, its not a bad thing!" He assured her, then found himself looking around again, "But... if your sure..." He took a couple steps away from her, then a couple more, before he was trotting ahead to the first large display window ahead of him.

As Kizoku wandered from window to window, he eyed the garments within every haberdashery he could find. Before venturing off to another one, the raven haired boy inhaled heavily. With the gesture came a faint smell, very sweet. This made his mouth water. "A store around here...they are handing out...candy?" thought Kizoku as he darted his grey gaze around for the source. His mother always denied him dessert due to his disgusting attitude. He had gone without something sweet for a week and it was killing him. Since he was on his own, he could have his fill of sweets without his mother knowing.
Following the scent, Kizoku starred upon a male who seemed to be adorned with an outfit of white frills. He seemed to smell strongly of the sweet smell as Kizoku drew closer. "Maybe he knows where I can get this...candy." thought the raven haired boy again as he drew closer. "There is no doubt about it! He probably knows where it is!" Kizoku wasn't much of a social butterfly, so greeting the other was hard for him. Rather, Kizoku took the alternative and walked straight up to him. "Ah, hello. You...you seem to have the wonderful smell of chocolate emitting from you. Can you share the location from which you received it? I would like some..." asked Kizoku rather quickly as he didn't make eye contact. The moment was quite awkward for him, indeed.

Ai was looking up into a shop window with huge eyes, looking almost breathless as he observed the pretty mannequin in the frilly, white dress that looked almost like a wedding dress. He wanted to get married he thought to himself with a smile before he heard a voice calling to him. He turned to look over at a boy about his age with beautiful eyes, hair that framed his face, and a nice voice.
The pocky boy couldn't help but to blush a little at what he perceived as a great compliment. A wonderful smell coming from him, how kind of him to both notice and comment on it, "Its just me. I smell like that naturally." He murmured, shyly.
Ai looked over his shoulder back in the direction he and his Mom had come from, "We saw a shop down that way selling big cookies, brownies, and things like that though if you are looking for sweets." He told the other boy, not wanting to see him all sad over the fact that Ai had no candy to share with him. Ai felt a bit guilty himself for not having any though he couldn't have known that he would need it.

Kizoku smiled lightly to the other's offer. "That sounds...wonderful." laughed the pocky boy as he nodded his head. Moving some loose strands of hair out of his face, Kizoku looked over the other's shoulder. "Hmm. So, who is the adult who happens to be in your company?" asked Kizoku as his grey gaze lined over the horizon of shoppers amongst the mall. "I'd like to ask her if it would be alright if such an offer can truly be accepted on terms. I do not want to hinder either of you..."
Gedda sighed. Shopping was her least favorite activity. But Kizoku needed a suit, so she would go through the hell of it just to obtain him one. Pushing herself passed a couple of men who were conversing idly, Gedda maneuvered towards a clothing store just a couple of steps in front of her. As she walked, she hesitated for a moment as one of the men grabbed her hand. In a smooth tone, the man tried to sound convincing and seductive towards her. "C'mon baby, let's go somewhere..." he spoke with a crooked grin.
Gedda glared at him. Swiping her hand away, Gedda decked the man up in his chin. "Do not touch me." fumed the Kurogama pocky boy's mother. "I have no time for your crap." As the men surrounded their friend who was knocked out on the floor, Gedda stormed off. Shopping surely pissed her off, but nothing else angered her more than a jerk who only wanted to get in her pants.

"Vanleia is her name, she's the one that takes care of me." He explained as he lifted his hand up to wave at the woman who was following along after him but at a distance that would allow for him to talk with his friend without it looking like she were eavesdropping. He turned to wait for her to catch up with him and his new companion, "Can we go to that store with all the treats?" He asked of her, making a motion to himself and to the one he was standing with to indicate that the 'we' included Kizoku.
Vanleia looked the pair over for a long moment before giving a little shrug of her shoulders, "I don't particularly mind, you got a parent that you should ask first?" She asked of Kizoku, giving a lazy sort of glance back and forth wondering who the kid belonged with. There were so many people around and none of them looked as though they were looking after him. Huh... was he maybe lost? She hoped not, "So long as its alright with them we can go and get us some sweets."
Ai looked quite delighted that his guardian was alright with bringing his new friend along with them to get treats. All the rest of it, about finding the other boy's parent wasn't nearly as important to him. He gave a happy flush as he held his hand out to Kizoku, "My name is Ai!" He chirped happily.

Kizoku straightened himself a bit. He had no idea where Gedda had gone. So much for the idea of finding each other if they both had lost each other. "She is um....Oh, nice to meet you Ai." Kizoku answered, avoiding the question completely. "I'm Kizoku. Pleasure to meet you." Grasping his hand to the other's, he nodded his head. "Thank you Madam Vanleia in allowing Ai to accompany me to obtain some sugary delights."
In the back of Kizoku's mind, he was fretting himself. "So much formality..." he thought as his face, for a short moment, expressed his displeasure. "You hardly know these people and yet you are acting as if they are holy beings walking upon this land. So much for only respecting yourself. Heck, you look like a dog convincing a family to give you a meal and a place to rest for the night."
Twisting his head about to loosen the strain on his neck, the Kurogama pocky boy maneuvered some more hair out of his face. He flashed another smile, to look a little more convincing.

Vanleia gave a soft giggle, "Aren't you a cute one." She said before she crossed her arms behind her head. She wasn't sure what she thought about wandering off with a kid who was missing his parents but... eh. She would keep her ears open for any announcements about a missing kid named Kizoku while they were getting their snacks.
She turned on her heel, "Come on then, the cookies are calling for us." She said with a giggle.
Ai gave a happy sound before looking over at Kizoku, "Wow, you did really good winning her over." He whispered, not that it was all that hard given Valeia was used to dealing with people on a regular basis but it still had Ai brightly brightly. So his guardian seemed to like Kizoku too? That was a good sign!
"Come on, I bet we can get lots of good stuff if we ask nicely and give her big, puppy eyes." Ai chirped happily.

Kizoku nodded his head with a bright smile. "Alright." he laughed, seeing as his proper boy performance really wowed Vanleia. Following after her and beckoning Ai with a flick of his arm, he whispered back, "Maybe we can!"
Spying the sweets store up ahead, Kizoku jolted forward with a quick trot and step. His eyes brightened to the sight of confectionery delights. He raced about the outside of the store, the scent of whipped cream and delightful chocolate dancing around his smelling senses. Turning about, Kizoku was truly excited. He just couldn't wait to finally have something sweet.

Ai followed along after his guardian and found himself falling into step with Kizoku. He glanced over at him and found himself flushing a bit as he inspected his friend. He was so nice and he was able to win over Vanleia quite easily.... on top of that he was so cute! The wedding pocky the boy was born from had caused him to be a bit of a romantic... on top of that it made him the sort that found himself crushing on a new person every moment. Normally whoever he was hanging out with.
He gave a happy sound as they walked up to the store where the sweets were located, looking inside before he trotted forward to look through the glass as what was set up where people would be able to see. All sorts of treats in all sorts of colors and flavors. He blinked as he looked at a white treat that looked like a tiny wedding cake while only made his flush worse.
"Pretty..." He murmured, laying his hands against the glass and leaned in closer to look at the idea. Oh! He wanted to get married he thought to himself in a giddy manner.
"How about we head in and get something yummy, huh?" Vanleia suggested, instead of just standing at the windows starring. She walked over to push the glass door open into the shop which only released a wave of sweet scents.

With a smile brimming more wider, Kizoku slipped passed Vanleia and held the glass door within grip. Bowing his head towards the two, he presented his hand forward and muttered simple, "Please enter first, madam and prince." He airily mouthed his voice in a butler-esque style, to sound a little more kinder in case he was appearing suspicious. Truth be told, his kind tone was making him feel overzealous. Oh how he wished to just yell an insult at a passing stranger! But with the fact he was getting treated free to something, he had to behave.
Sighing inwardly, Kizoku muttered something horrendous under his tongue. That'll hold him up until he can finally return to his mother and rant for an hour of his experiences at the mall.

Ai blinked a couple times before he started to giggle as Kizoku opened up the door for them, he was acting so nice! He gave a happy sound as he quickly trotted forward into the shop with a happy look on his face. How romantic! He was opening up the door for them go through any everything! He moved over to looking into one of the glass cases while waiting for his friend and guardian to join him.
"Heh... sweet kid." Vanleia said, giving him a smile as she walked by, more men needed to be so sweet and old fashion like that. Opening doors for them, heh. She moved off to the shelves were prepackaged amounts of cookies, brownies, and the like awaited customers.
Ai looked over his shoulder at his guardian for a moment before looking to Kizoku and smiled, "What sorts of treats do you like, Kizoku?" He asked of his friend.

Kizoku smiled in return. "Mostly everything...!" he said gleefully towards Ai. "But I do adore those cookies with the jelly in the middle. Those are quite delicious! I believe they are called thumb print cookies?" Turning his head around, Kizoku wandered up to the glass case where some stored cakes and cookies were located.
"Ah, I believe it is something like that." he mentioned, pointing to the oval piece of dough with the crimson jelly within the center. The baker behind the store front stared down at Kizoku before offering him one of the cookies from the plate. At first Kizoku refused it, not wanting to take it without giving money first. But as the man urged him to take the cookie, he did. The baker also gave him a second one, which he offered to Ai. "Wah, these are delicious!" he commented, mouth opening to the wonderful taste of the treat.

Ai gave a happy sound as he turned to look around through the display, hoping to spot the sort of cookie that his friend liked to see what the design was like. He found himself following after Kizoku when he also went in search of the 'thumb print cookie' that were located somewhere in the shop. Much to his surprise and delight a pair of cookies were offered to him and his friend.
"W-Wow... thank you." He said, his cheeks going a light color of pink as he reached out to take the wonderful gift. What a kind person the baker was he thought to himself as he took the first bite of his cookie, almost purring with delight over the taste, "Its really good!"

Slowly, Kizoku turned around back to Ai. "Where your mother?" he questioned with a tilt of his head. He had seen her enter the store, but was so caught up with himself and his new friend he did not see where she went. Deep down, he was also relishing the fact he did not know where his own mother is. He had sidetracked himself away from his duty and was feeling sort of guilty. "Hey...Ai. Could you help me with something?" he asked, changing the topic. "Can you, perhaps, help me search for my mother? I was suppose to be looking for some clothes...But ended up going with you instead to a candy store. I promise we can return here later to Miss Vanleia!"
Arching his face up, Kizoku presented two pleading eyes. Unfortunately, the thick pools of grey were not reminiscing on the fact he missed his mother very much...but because he knew the consequence of not finding her. No dessert for sure and Kizoku did not want to test her.
