This is the Official Sniped D Thread to chat about Evolving Items! Figured we could use more topics, and what's better than a place to discuss the magical event occurring every Friday? Exciting, valuable, and sometimes unpredictable, EIs are fun!

This week, we had updates and evolutions to the Gogh Reed and the Fremere's Guard, with new art for each; the Reve Rouille evolved, as well as the first evolution for the Kottan Bell! Kottan looks a bit reminiscent of Dander, IMO.

All of this weeks items are in the Gaia Cash Shop, but the Infernal Spirit is leaving this week! However, a new EI has taken its place! The Stolen Mesozoic DNA. Buying one gets you a Ice Chest, which when opened gives you 1 of 4 different DNA tubes. Each evolves into a different creature? Exciting!

i am so terribly disappointed in the pearl this week. I hope it become something squiddy or even mildly not hideous next time it evolves, because it sure hasn't impressed me so far. :/

The reed however, is pretty :3 i loves the lightening fishies <3

Deflated by 20k since I bought it,
poses keep getting worse. D;

I liked the ruff from the 2nd phase though,
and that's why I got it in the first place.

Can't wait to see how Gogh Reed turns out,
although I do hope pepper-tea comes up
with some poses other than little (fish) monsters.
(Not saying they suck, though,
but I want to see some more clothing/eyes/skins/...)

The new journal has a horrible colour scheme,
do hope it turns out pretty, like the goggles, though.
Got one for Pete's sake just because it goes for a promising 799 cash.
(And now I'm poor in gold).

I deeply regret not getting a Gogh Reed when they first came out. Lightning Otter! crying

I'm sure the Pearl will be pretty eventually. It certainly has the potential! It'll happen and everyone will be surprised.

I'm totally getting the Journal. WWII Flying Ace go!

I hate the reed.
I think it's really ugly. D:
And I liked the eye poses of the pearl, today~

Woo i found a way to circumvent the internet filters at work. Go me. So i really really really REALLY hate the eye poses from the pearl. They're so totally and completely ugly. They might be useful if i was trying to make a monster or something... but they don't mesh well with my skin at all so it doesn't have my vote at all. I'm still really feeling the reed, i liked it's ice eyes from the last pose, and the fire skin from the one before that, so it's my favorite so far. <3333

I want a reed really really badly.

The hair isn't bad, and it does a lot better than FW, with its current 500k pricetag.

i still think these pants are the coolest thing to come out of the nartian rock.

reve rouille is probably my favorite ei ever, though. it's so cute. :3
