Seriously, today when I was back from school, I log into Gaia, as always and saw that little MTV Awards announcement, so I went to vote with hopes to see Repo! nominated in at least one category.... What did I saw? Nothing!! Not even as Best song *I didn't even saw that category >_>*. So, I'm outraged, how 'bout you guys? stressed

People have very split opinions upon the film. Repo! stil needs time to grow and collect more fans. as Darren Lynn Bousman, the director, said; in order for their to be any other Repo films, it needs the popularity and fan support. Now, let's go back to the MTV subject. It's not very popular, which is sadly why it's not there. ;-;

It's simple, mtv sucks. I mean they want to remake rocky horror... What, was the original not good enough for them? If they screw it up I'm sueing.

You expect the station that's casting Marilyn Manson as Frank-N-Furter in the RHPS remake to know anything about cult films or musical theatre in general?
Never trust MTV's sense of taste.

The MTV over there in the US seems as bad as here in Latinamerica, damn that's depressing D:
@ Kaliesh & Lasciate - They're going to do WHAT?? I...I really don't know what to think now... Gah! I can't imagine Marilyn Manson as Frank-N-Furter , my faith in humanity has droped a little bit more gonk

(Warning: Brief Off-Topic Rant)
They're also going to add "original" music to the remake despite Richard O'Brien's objections. He's bloody furious over it. There's many a petition to stop the production of the remake, but nothing seems to be having effect. As a matter of fact, most of my favorite older movies are being remade. It's a shame, really.

ALL I KNOW IS A LIE. -Sob.- MTV does suck. They play crummy reality t.v. shows that we all undeniably watch because they're addicting. And now...this? A RHPS remake? Only Tim Curry can deliberately pwn at playing the role of Dr. Frank N' Furter. Marilyn Manson? I like some of his music, but I cannot picture him as Frank. Nuh uh. No way. MY FAITH IN HUMANITY... Where is the Repo Men know? We need them to reposess a few brains... -Ahem.- S'cuse me while I search for some shiny knives and scalpels. ninja

Now, let's go back to the MTV subject. It's not very popular, which is sadly why it's not there. ;-; Some say that when we die we come back..like with greener eyes...Of course. I didn't even realize REPO even existed until I saw a preview for like Saw 5 out on DvD this TUESDAY! and talked about how great it was then in a fast voice, Also REPO! The Genetic Opera out on Tuesday... Also one of the reviews they talked in REPO commentary; during the song "A Thankless Job" someone reviewed that, "People are laughing at this Movie and the creators don't even realize it!" When that and other parts of the movie was meant to be funny as stated by the people in the commentary which I thought was so funny xD Also one of the things many of the critics did like it was the fact that it was *ahem* "Too Gorey" where I though.."Well it's a movie about Organ Repossession...It's not gonna be all marshmallows and unicorns"
So I think that the movie is greatly misunderstood. I would still like to vote for it...Maybe one day though.
And it is MTV I mean they hand those things out like they were plague baring beast of legends and they want to dispose of them.
and...I am addicted to Room Riders...I must admit that, oh MTV what have you done to me!? ...or a far off star

Gah! And what's next? a Clockwork Orange remake with Zac ******** Efron doing the main role as Alexander Delarge?? gonk I..I really can't picture MM singing "Sweet Tansvestite" , his voice just... it can't be done! *Though, ASH would do a nice role x3* Oh well... back in topic, then the awards will be owned by Twilight gonk *except on the "Best Villian" part, I still have hopes of Heath winning for his Joker role u.u*
I liked "Room raiders" too ._.U

Oh no, I think they said it would be Ed Westwick as Alex. Zac is playing Rocky.
And...What? Marylin Manson?! That would be...Kind of funny actually...

Never trust MTV's sense of taste. Truthfully I'm a bit offended. Having Marilyn Manson in it will soil not only the remake (even though it's ruined from the beginning, being a remake and all) but also the original film itself. Manson is generic shock-rock douche who has made his fortune off pissy teenagers and Hot Topic fodder. Back on topic, it's MTV so never get your hopes high, especially for B-listers. They only fellatiate the most mainstream of mainstream music/TV/movies/other things so to expect that Repo! actually got nominated is like a third-world country orphan expecting an x-Box 360 and a PSP for Christmas.
