It is said that on the hilly side of the continent an ancient civilization built a hidden city in order to protect itself from the outsiders. However, due to their separation from the outside world, this civilization perished. Now all that's left are some buildings on the base of the mountains. These old building stand proud and attract only the courageous and curious with it's strange alluring beauty. Common people usually try to avoid passing these mossy ruins because it's rumored to be a gathering place for spirits, rogues and thieves.

A loud crash disturbs the night scaring the crows from the nearby trees.
Deep in the ruins there was one decent building which served as a tavern for anyone who looked for shelter. Inside people were staring at a pitiful small thief laying on the ground and his friends trying to pick him up.
"Hey hey! calm down missy...."
An angry neko race woman was standing in front of them with her hand on her dagger.
"Get him out of mi sight! I if I catch you trying to steal something from me again..."
"You'll do what...?"
One of the men asked, but was cut mid sentence after seeing the look in her eyes.
"Let's get out of here guys..."
The other suggested taking his knocked out friend along.
"Hmph..."
She then turned around and went back to her seat.

*Lorelei's hair ripples from the men speeding past her. She looks at them amused then continues into the ruins and spots the Neko woman.* Hello, may I share your camp for the evening? My name is Lorelei. *She bows a little in greeting then awaits the lady's response.*

She looked at the newcomer named Lorelei curiously. Not many people came round these days and those who did were usually... Well just like those guys who just left.
"Nice to meet you, Lorelei. I'm Vy," she introduced herself. "And sure, you can take shelter here as long as you don't mind the company..." she glanced around the place once more just to make sure no one is trying anything again.
"You do know where you are, don't you?" she asked cautiously keeping her eyes on the person in front of her.

Should I mind the company? *She smiles to show she is joking then seats herself across from Vy.* It is very nice to meet you, I've about had my fill of their type. *She gestures her head towards the exit where the rogues had left* I'm assuming that these ruins are the remnants of a very powerful ancient civilization. I'm having trouble discerning exactly which kind though. Definitely not the pixies, that is certain. I think this might have been a very important city to the civilization too, a religious site or possibly a capital. *She surveyed the remains but remained unsure as to their specific origins.* Am I close?

Vy grins.
"I must admit, Miss Lorelei, that you a re very perceptive," she admitted. "Indeed, these ruins are left by some, now forgotten, civilization. Most of this place is destroyed, but there are still quite a few buildings left," she continued, "weird, but part of remaining buildings have inscriptions on them and might have been used for ceremonial purposes..." she caught herself talking, what she thought was nonsense.
"I'm sorry to burden you with these stories, but... Hey! What the hell are you doing?! " she got cut in mid-sentence as a hooded traveler was suspiciously approaching from Lorelei's back.

*She jumps up and opens her wings, lifting herself over the traveler. She lands behind them, grabs their left arm and twists it behind their back incapacitating them and bringing them to their knees. Then she speaks softly, almost sweetly to this intruder. Why? Oh why would you be creeping up on our camp so suspiciously? *She looks at Vy* What would you like me to do with this one?

Vy watched impressed.
"Wow! You can really handle the situation..." then she glared at the hooded man. He had his head lowered and didn't say a word.
"Could you hold him for a minute?" She asked Lorelei as she approached him and knelt in front.
"Raise your face," she demanded, but the man didn't budge. "Did you hear me?"
Vy was starting to attract more attention so she decided to keep it down a bit.
"Hey, you..." she stretched out her hand to lift his face, but as soon as her hand came into contact with him, his entire body turned to dust.
"What the?..." she leaped back frightened.

*She stood there hands grasping sand where she had been holding the figure.* Does that happen often here?

"No." Voro came through the shadows unexpectedly. "I did that. This place is the remnants of a civilization that was a group of Angels and Demons coexisting." His voice void and steady.

Vy frowned as she listened to the unknown man.
"So it was your fault? Who are you?" she asked again while approaching him. She was a bit annoyed.
"Who gave you the right to assault other people in this tavern?" she was cautiously holding her hand on her blade which was strapped to her thigh.

*She surveyed Voro then decided to speak.* It is not that uncommon for angels and demons to coexist. I find they have rather a lot in common other than the fact that they are supposed to be ineffably different. *She surveyed the tavern curiously.* Vy do you live in these ruins?

He vanished and reappeared next to Lorelei. "I am Voro. and I knew his next fifteen moves after you would have let him go. And yes normally it is not uncommon for them to coexist, but in the time of this civilization, it was almost forbidden. no one had disguises as none were really needed then. I noticed these ruins on my way here and deciphered them all. I suggest not getting hostile please."

"Lorelei, do you know this guy? And yeah, you can say that," she replied to Lorelei's question. "I've been here for quite some time..." She glared at Voro, but took her hand of her weapon.
"How can you possibly say you deciphered them? Even if this civilization was of angels and humans... It was way too long ago."
People everywhere were enjoying their drinks, gambles and little fights, and only few paid any attention to the trio. One woman was watching them carefully though.

*She looks at Vy.* I do not know him, but he is certainly an angel and I'd wager he's part demon too by the way he carries himself. *She looks at the woman then to Vy.* Do you know her or does our business concern her?
