More than the steampunk socialite.
What do you prefer: The high-end clothing and fancy hair The dirty and gritty fingerless gloves with oil crusted underneath the exposed nails and a button up collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up?

Zahgender More than the steampunk socialite. I don't like to wear either to be honest. The high end clothes are to fancy for me. not my style. But oil crusted fingers and such is to dirty for me. I prefer a sort of middle class look. my look is a combination of a Steampunk engineer/tinkerer and that of a fantasy/RPG assassin, rogue or thief.

Not exactly a peasant, but not a high Lady of Society either. I'd pretty much be in the library, or tending the garden, doing domestic sorts of things. (^_Q)

3nodding Yeah, same here, although I tend to gravitate towards the middle-class style of dress.

I like mixing Victorian and seamy type pieces into my everyday clothing if I can help it. To blend a sort of modern style with it. Since I have to be professional most of the time and I can't be looking too odd. I need to beef up my steampunkish wardrobe anyhow.

Tell me about it. They won't let me dress up at work. Want me to wear t-shirt and jeans.
