Congratulations! You and your character have been deemed worthy for a rank of authority, and with rank comes some benefits. Lieutenants/Sergeants and their wolves are allowed to do the following IC as long as you don't abuse the power. If you do abuse the benefits given to you, your character will be demoted after two warnings.

1. Lieutenants can assigned major duties/punishments to everyone but the Captain. Sergeants can assign minor duties/punishments to Privates and Apprentices.
2. Alphas can powerplay over Betas and Gammas for dominance/punishment purposes. Betas can powerplay over Gammas for dominance purposes.

But of course, there are also some rules and requirements that all Lieutenant/Sergeant characters must follow to keep the rank. Failure to do so will have your character be open to a rank challenge with a small possibility of winning, and your character will have very little chance to be promoted again. All Lieutenant/Sergeant characters must fulfill the following (more will be added as deemed necessary):

1. Active participation in one or more roleplays by posting at least once per two weeks, excluding Drill/Battle RPs.
2. Participation in all Drill and Battle RPs for their Fort.
3. Following the rules and fulfilling the requirements of any Challenges against you.

However, sometimes RL or other issues will interrupt our abilities to roleplay and we completely understand. So if you cannot keep up with the requirements, simply let us know by posting the following form in this thread and your character will not be penalized nor can your character be challenged for that time period. If you are inactive for over 2 months, then your character will automatically be demoted and a more active roleplayer will take your rank - but you will still have the opportunity to challenge the new Lieutenant/Sergeant once you return.
