It had been day one of his practice and he was feeling rather exhausted if a bit delighted. The feeling he'd gotten when was able to pull back the string of his bow for the first time... he wondered if that was how his sister felt when she was making art. She always seemed so happy when she did that but he never understood it, was never good enough at drawing or painting or the other sorts of things that she did to really get any enjoyment out of it. He really thought that he was starting to understand now though.
He lifted a hand up to fiddle with his hair, he'd had to tie it back out of the way so that he could aim better and not worry about it during practice. It was a new style for him, simple compared to what Fenrir normally did with it. He turned to look up at his Daddy, "Can we stop at the park? To sit for a bit?" He asked, it was a bit warmer today with no risk of any snow so he wanted to go back.
Baldric gave a nod of his head, "Sure, we can go play for a while." He said, shifting his son's things in his arms. He had his bow, his arrows, some pamphlets that the instructor had given them, a form for getting his son the tradition dress that everyone else there wore when at practice or competitions. It wasn't exactly the sport he thought of when his son asked to be join one, had guessed football, basketball, even soccer. It seemed Kiyoshi was good at throwing him for a loop though.
The giant of a man moved over to sit on one of the benches, setting his sons things down next to him and allowed his son to rush over toward the swings, ponytail fluttering behind him like a white flag as he did.

Puck was on a nearby field ducking and dogging two familiar dogs who barked at him ever time he came close to them. Whatever was he doing? It was hard to tell but between the mutts and the child it seemed like some kind of training.
Off in the distance was a familiar silver haired guardian who had a stern look on his face. With a whistle the dogs both bobbed and weaved toward the child, who ducked and jumped out of the way. It looked like some form of defense training after a while. "Good but your still to slow, lad. Keep at it." The rich voice filled the air as Xan whistled again and the dogs both came to his side.
A tired Puck fell back on the snow heaving in breaths of air. He looked up at the sky for a while but it was blocked shortly when his daddy came into view. Reaching two arms up he was lifted off the ground and into strong arms with a ruffle of his hair. "Good job today. We'll get you ready for the spring soon enough. If you're this fast in the snow then its only natural you'll be quite a runner on solid ground." Xan praised his son giving him another ruffled of his hair before setting him back to the earth. "Well lets take a break you can go and play if you want."
With a cheerful squeal the boy rushed off without so much as a word as he headed for the playground only to stop shortly when he saw the familiar milky hair of an old friend. "Kiyoshi!" He cried drawing his father's attention who smiled at the familiar sight of the boy. Xan scanned the area and smiled even more when he noticed the warm man that could only be Kiyoshi's father, Baldric.
"Well fancy meeting you here again." Xan drawled taking up a seat next to the other. He didn't say much else just letting his gaze fall on the boys this time like a hawk but thankfully no forecast of harsh weather today; so maybe they could rest easy.

Kiyoshi nearly tripped in his race over to the swings when a familiar voice called out his name. He flapped his arms to regain his balance as he slowed to a stop and looked around. A happy sound came from the boy's lips upon seeing his favorite friend coming toward him. He changed the direction he'd been heading, swings forgotten so that he could hurry over to where Puck was.
"Puck!" What awesome timing! He had been half hoping he would be so lucky as to run across his friend with the pretty hair again.
Baldric gave a smile, lifting Kiyoshi's things off the bench so there was more room for Xan to sit comfortably, "Pretty lucky." Baldric said with a smile, "How have the two of you been since the Christmas party?" A couple of months since they had last met up, though it would appear to be an eternity the way the boys were acting.
Then again time seemed to work differently in the mind of a child.

"They seemed to like each other." Xan commented absently, with a smile he looked to Baldric. "We've been well, yourself?"
Puck squealed and hopped about as if they had just won a game show prize at seeing Kiyoshi. After while he settled down and pointed to the swings. "I push?" he asked, hoping they could play together for a while before they had to leave.

"Doing pretty well, thinking about moving to a bigger place soon if things all go well." He said, the shop was doing really well which meant soon enough it would be able to expand. A bigger business meant more customers and more money coming in. All in all the new year had been good to them so far.
Kiyoshi gave a nod of his head causing his pony tail to swing back and forth, "Yes, I would like that." He said. After all he'd been on his way over to them when his friend showed up. Getting to share the fun that was playing on the swings with Puck would make it even more fun for him.
He reached over to take his friends hand, gave it a squeeze and started to lead the way to the swings eager to play while they could.

Puck took the offered hand following eagerly behind his friend. Once they were near the swings he waited for Kiyoshi to get on before he gave a soft push to get the pocky boy in motion. After while his pushing began to pick up shooting for a higher altitude and more fun. "Push more?" He asked standing back just enough to let Kiyoshi enjoy the swinging motion with no aid.
"That sounds good. Glad things are coming along for you then." Xan offered, enjoying the quiet moment. He watched the boys, chuckling softly as Puck pushed Kiyoshi on the swings. "You know I've been worried about Puck's learning habits. The lack of speech and his mindset. He's a bright kid, don't get me wrong but I just don't want him missing out. Know of any private tutors that could help?"

Kiyoshi gave a happy giggle as he was pushed in the swing by his friend, "This is good, thank you." He murmured, enjoying the height that he was getting on the swing and after a while he jumped from the swing. There was a moment where he was flying through the air, almost floating... then landed. He gave a giggle as he turned around to face Puck, "Your turn, sit and I will push you."
Baldric watched as the boys played, watching Kiyoshi as he jumped down and for a moment looked worried until he proved that he was fine, running back over to Puck.
He turned his attention back to Xan and gave a little shake of his head, "I wish that I could be of some help but I can't think of a really good one off hand." He said then gave a little laugh, "We don't exactly cater to the sort that are tutor worthy."

Xan could only nod giving a light chuckle at the children. "That's fine. It never hurts to ask, I'll do a little looking around and get some opinions." He offered then noticed Puck and Kiyoshi switching place. "This can't end good. Puck is going to repeat what Kiyoshi just did." He gave a soft sigh, not worried, the boy had done more dangerous things at home jumping off counters and bunk beds with his brother Gale, a swing was just as much.
And as stated by his father, Puck did switch places. Ready to take a leap like his friend once he was at a high enough altitude. He squealed happily waiting to be pushed looking over at the dogs who were lazily laying in the small patch of snow. Spring was here and the snow would soon melt completely away... Puck liked that idea a lot.

"If I hear of anyone I will send them your way." He said before turning his attention back to the two boys who were trading places. He tilted his head to the side to watch as Puck started to gain height in the swing, "At least there are still piles of snow around to catch them."
And if nothing else something Baldric was fairly good at was first aid so if the two did get themselves scraped up he'd be able to help.
Kiyoshi gave a giggle, clapping his hands as Puck went up a lot higher then he had dared to go, "Awesome! Your so high up!" He squealed, delighted.

Puck squealed excitedly waiting until he got just a bit lower before taking his turn to jump off the swing. With the air carrying him, it was like flying for a moment then floating before he landed on his hands and feet. Giggling he rolled in the snow laying on his back and laughing. It was fun to just be free to play. Kids were like that.
At the time. His dog companions came over barking excitedly as they circled the boy in the snow. Turning they barked at Kiyoshi to play with them too wagging tails excitedly.

Kiyoshi lifted his hands up to help to smother his giggles as not only did Puck make a flying leap from the swing but he also rolled with it. He gave a grin as he chased after him, "That was a great a jump." He said when he reached him, looking down at him then looked over to dogs and giggled when they seemed to be wanting to get into the game too.
"Pretty puppies." He murmured, reaching out to pet them, still very much appreciative to the two of them for helping him and Puck when they got lost in the snow. He gave them each a lot of petting and some snuggles, "Nice, nice dogs."
He turned to look over at Puck, "Want to try the slide now? I bet it will be faster with the snow on it." He said with a grin, holding a hand out to him.
