Ok some of us really can't help talking spoilers and poor ORion is really trying to read the books in ernest so I'm creating this thread so that we may freely talk about the books with the understanding that if someone hasn't read all the books or as far along they knew there would be spoilers here.

The doorway in tear was shipped to Tar Valon it had the Ealfinn.
The doorway from Rhiudian was destroyed and it was the one that nearly hung Matt. It had the Aellfinn. Also there was a second set of arches which Moiraine used without assistance. In Rhiudian.

I forgot about the other arches! That was for the Wise One's training or something like that. Also there was the Tower of Genji. They haven't went yet but Moiraine said that is where the doorways led.

Yeah, this is a good idea, but I feel like we're leaving Orion out.

Orion can read them if he wishes.....It's just this way he knows what he's getting into and doesn't have to read them if he doesn't want anything ruined.

These are just some things based on the history at the time of the books, to possibly give direction for our future history. (please note these are just suggestions and I am in no way trying to impose my will on the rest of the guild)

1) the breaking itself, In the original breaking Steadings disappeared, a few mountains were added some taken away, and although some names changed the general location of things was still the same.
Also, A Breaking can simply mean a political restructering.

2) The Black Tower although originally in Cairhein was a tower only in name and can be placed anywhere. It was little more the a very large camp. Although, as it's numbers grew there were already signs of a city forming around it.

3) The shadowspawn never actually disappeared before so there is no reason for them to have done so now.

4) Follow rand through the stones to the other dimensions. Tarmon Gaidon has happened before. Time and Time again. I say we can use this to our advantage as when book 12 is released if we choose to change our storyline to match up then we use the stones to go there. If not then we continue on as a divergent timeline. It is also possible say for our divergence Tarmon Gaidon hasn't happened yet. Though that might be streching it.

1) has gone with a complete breaking... I just really felt like ******** with things when doing the history on that part... many countries stayed, though a few had disappeared... Also there are a number of other countries that had formed.

2) The Black Tower was moved nearer to the White Tower, though they are still a distance away.

3) Shadowspawn are still... though they have been driven back into the blight. Also all of the Borderland countries have remained, and Malkier has been reborn...

4) I would personally think we should stick to whatever course we choose despite how the books end... Even though the stones are there very few would have ever figured out how to work them.

All I have to say on any of those topics is on 4. Herid Fel said that Tarmon Gaidon can't really be the last battle because of the wheel of time. History repeats itself. Do you get what I'm saying?......Cause I don't. I forgot my point.

Oh yeah - I'm glad you chose to have Malkier reborn.

Technically if the events in the stones are to be believed then Tarmon Gaidon is the last battle of an AGE. And ofcourse as this is still a new AGE in that respects it would still be young and shaping itself to a new way of life and or thinking.

Here's a question What of the Blue tower as far as I can remember they were still fighting to depose Elaida. The White tower seemingly overflowing with black Ajah?
Now my Theoery would be that Egwene wins Control of the White Tower and do to politics and possibly the close proximity of Whitecloaks and or the Black tower is forced to Pardon Sisters formerly loyal to Elaida with testing such loyalties. Which for us would explain the apparantly large number of Black Sisters as well as their forwardness in revealing themselves whenever they feel they have the upper hand.

Just a Thought

I was going to skip as many spoilers as possible so in our history I think that will remain unanswered, for the simple fact that it doesn't need to be.... However I do agree that that is what is most likely going to happen in the actual story.

Just an update, I'm past the part where Bridgette and Elayne bond. That is half-way through Fires of Heaven.

wow Orion i forgot that happened so early in the books. Looks like your moving along at a great pace. I love the world RJ laid out, with all the detail and interweaving of characters I just finished the prequel for the 2nd time so i'll be rereading them right behind you. Can't wait to see how it ends.
