Alright, we are seriously lacking members, and in order to convince other members to join we need to be able to describe the story to them. Seeing as how 100 years have passed since Tarmon Gaidon, and RJ never managed to finish the 12th book and it is still awaiting its publishing, we need to fill in the gaps ourselves.
Here is a list of possible Ideas I had that we could roll with. Please feel free to leave comments or your own ideas for the history.
- Since Channellers live a long time (reference the Knitting Circle, mentions of the Wise Ones, and Cadsuane), many of the Aes Sedai who would have still been in their younger years would likely still be alive today. What happened to the main characters to kill them off, or where are they currently positioned in the story?
- The prophecies say that the Dragon Reborn will break the world again. If this prophecy were to be fulfilled would he have broken the land itself? Would the whole continent have changed, or just the landmarks of the continent? How would the world have been reshaped? ((Also I feel that if the world would have broken Tar Valon ought to stay relatively the same, maybe let the island grow a bit bigger to be a country in its own right, but the towers and whatnot all should have lived through the breaking.))
- Ogier also live a long time, but if the world broke would their Steddings have disappeared again? What has happened to the Ogier?
- What happened to all the shadowspawn in the Blight? Did they completely disappear, or did they just withdraw back to Shayoul Ghul in order to regroup their numbers?
- As noted in the series the Aes Sedai have already begun to break some of their longest standing traditions (such as the age which novices were accepted). What other traditions might have been broken, and what new ones might have formed?
These are just a few suggestions in which we should all call to mind. If anybody else has any other ideas feel free to post them all here.

If anything, the number of points you brought up just shows how much we need some sort of history! With so many things in question, how could we keep a cohesive feel?

I could get into alot of other points, but I feel the ones I brought up are some of the most major of the ones I can think of at the moment.

I also agree. The leaders of the guild have said they would work on it, but since they hardly post I don't know how much we can go by that. Hopefully something will get done soon.

Okay Im gonna say here that for the history we really need one person to work on it...I haven't read the books in a long time so I can't really be of much use. Some great points have been brought up.
I think the way the history should be written is to mainly focus on what happened with the Aes Sedai...I think for story purposes...maybe we should think about making the Black Tower nearby because anyone wanting to be a Ashaman can't post with us.
If anyone would be interested in writing a short little blurp on history and send it to me I will go over it and post it in my revamping.

I also agree the Black Tower should be nearby because after 100 years that would probably happen especially because
SPOILER ALERT!!!! This has to do with Winter's Heart.
saidin was cleansed so the fear of men going insane isn't in the air anymore, thus men and women channeling beside each other shouldn't be unheard of anymore.
END SPOILER : D

I can do it! I can write a history. I've had so many thoughts it shouldn't be hard at all! Besides, I want to be an author: I could use the practice. Should I try then?
[Pm me what you decide in case I forget to look]

does anyone else have the World of WOT book. if so perhaps we can model our current age off the age of legends loosely. I would fix a lot of issues as far as towers and such. Just a thought.

I'm not sure if thats the exact book I have, but I do have a book that talks about alot of the background of The Wheel of Time series. However I am already currently working on writing up a history that should fit fairly well for the story.

Sucks that it's so far away. I doubt it will ever be too late to have a book like that. It sounds awesome.
