I've been selling classical music on vinyl for a while now but I've been doing visable grading since I didn't have a turntable. But a few lp's I've picked up have been hard to grade since they were pretty scuffed but not enough to effect the recording.
Since on these the difference between good and very good can be like 50 bucks I picked up a new Sony turntable. Definately not audiophile grade but since I'm broke and used turntables are getting pretty rare it'll have to do. Although after listening to some rock albums I picked up for the cover art I'm thinking about looking for a really good used turntable.
I'm listening to Billy Idol right now and the difference between the cd and lp are dramatic. Lol and I said I'd never own another turntable. Hope I don't get as bad as the audiophile idiots I sell the records to.
No there wasn't really a point to this, I'm just rambling like Arena does, albeit in more coherent manner. xp
