Is it their defense, or offense...
Right now the Titans @ Lions game is on, and the score is 28-3, so Im guessing its their defense.
But then it could be because their playing the Titans...
Is it the teams they play or are they really that bad?

I havent really sat down to watch one of their games, so I dont know how they play.

Its both. the defense cant stop anyone and the offense cant seem to score on anybody.

Their defense or their offense? Both are pretty horrible, but I'd say that neither is to blame. Their coaching and front office have been the problem. They have done virtually nothing with low first round picks recently. Calvon Johnson and Kevin Smith seem promising, but when you pay no attention to a pathetic offensive line, your offense is in trouble. Culpepper has had a great career, but he is way past his prime and won't have success with the Lions. Much like the Raiders, they will try hard to get the "show" players and not the "foundation" players. And don't get me started on their defense. They are all-around terrible.

Now with Millen out in Detroit, let's see if they go after a player that can make a difference with the foundation of the team. Maybe an offensive lineman or linebacker. And it's probable that they'll get the first pick in next year's NFL Draft.

Everything. Sorry, but true. I just pray that Daunte Culpepper will lead them to 1 victory (and I'm a Vikings fan/Steelers fan)

But right now, it doesn't look like it's going to happen. We saw the Patriots go 16-0 in the regular season last year. Now we'll probably get to see the 0-16 Lions for the following season. neutral

Everyone knows how I feel about Culpepper. I do not like him. His whole career he's been overrated. Now though he hasn't had time to learn a playbook and he never got a chance to build any timing with his receivers. If he stays in Detroit he'll be better next season.

Calvin Johnson and Kevin Smith are their only good players. Shaun McDonald, Dante Culpepper, and Rudi Johnson are a bit lower tear but still decent. ...and...yeah, that's about it.
