As with Halloween, the gram sent to Zul bears two letters. The one from Zeke - as with the previous one - teases Christmas gifts and plenty of fun in store the day of when OF COURSE they'll all get together and celebrate the holiday as intended - with and for and all about family. The way Zeke writes, his excitement for his favorite holiday rings through loud and clear and near the end he makes mention of calling Zul up soon to catch up and plan for Christmas Eve and Day and even New Years too. Expect several calls, it IS Zeke after all.
Anya's note is the shorter of the two, as expected of the spider queen, yet no less warm than Zeke's. She ponders if he has been well since they last spoke, says that she has despite being forced to retreat inside due to the season, and tells him that Zeke and Brad both went 'unbelievably overboard' decorating both the interior and the exterior of their home. She ends her message with 'Sincerely, Anya' but puts a P.S. beneath that:
"It will be done by Christmas, I promise."
She encloses a photo of what is clearly the end of a scarf; the tassels white before fading into red and then orange before being cut off. In the center of the photo, knitted into the depicted ombre, is a black crescent moon.
Zeke is the only one to include a note in this one (but blatantly writes that Anya, Brad, and the kids all say their respective hellos). His excitement is still clear - he all but demands she dare not be a stranger on his 'most favorite' of holidays - and he is crass in that familial way she would know well from him by now.
Meaning he writes that she is going to s**t herself when she sees what he got her THIS year.
