Warning! The following COULD spoil the game for you. Read at your own risk...
The game was almost flawless. The character dialog was a bit choppy. You know. And the movements were a little corny. Like when Dirk hits Lloyd at the very beginning.
But overall the game was one of the best games I've EVER played. EVER! The end though. With the Lloyd wings? What was that? Where did they come from? Why did no one seemed shocked? "Oh. Lloyd has wings. Ok. That's cool." Colette just flies up with him like it ain't no thang. What's with that? I don't understand. And because it made no sense, it ruined the ending. Which made the game go from a perfect 10 to a mere 9.3 ..
Thoughts?

yes its an awsome game, beat it twice, once with Zelos, once with Kratos.
about the wings on Lloyd, the thing is that his exsphere was the 'ultimate exsphere' or what ever right? the result of the angilus project. so at the end of the game, when it was activated by Lloyd's emotions or something he turned into an angel-type-person. remember that the exsphere was originally ment for Mithos. and Colette was just caught up in the 'save-the-world' moment, as for the others...they just got left behind and you didnt see their reactions, the next thing you see after the anime is awhile after all of this happened so it's had time to sink in and for them to get over it. that's my explanation anyway...

Yeah, but should at least Lloyd have been at least a little shocked? Just a tad? Like...
"Whoa? I got wings?? WTF?"
You know? Teenie bit?

I didn't even know how to keep Kratos when you play the game. I just played with Zelos both times that I beat it. The second time was no probelm though. I had 10x experience on, so no boss stood a chance. When I got to the Tower of Salvation, I beat the angel in a few seconds, and then Kratos was no match since I already had my strategy from our one-on-one the first time. Then I learned that Yggdrasil is an impossible boss. I was at least twice the level I was the first time when I got there the second, and the only way we did more than 1 damage with the best equipment we could get was with magic, and when he lost about a thousand helth the fight ended, he lifted the Eternal Sword, created a large wave of energy, and we were on the ground. I also had most of the costumes for people (there are 4 costumes: their normal, alternate, swimsuit, and formal costumes). The best thing about the game is that the multiplayer is not only good, but frequent.

to get Kratos you make your relationship with Zelos suck. (never use him, make him mad in the dialogues) then when he leaves you'll fight him instead of him coming back and you'll get kratos awhile later.

Alright, Im going to settle my feelings for this game once and for all.
Lynk's Rant:
Overall, I thought the game was satisfying enough. The GAME. Not, the story. I thought that the story left alot to be desired. It was pretty mediocre, as all the Tale's Games really are...
I also didnt like the world map...It was pretty general as far as world maps go. It wasnt pretty, but it wasnt grainy at the same time. Mediocre, like this game series.
While it isnt bad on any level, It doesnt deserve all the praise it is getting. Here are some basic reason's why:
-While the battle system was superb, there were changes that I did not enjoy. -Music was deplorable... -Character's Lackluster, save for Raine (Who didnt fall into any cliche's) and MAYBE Zelos. -Dubbing wasnt Great. It was good, not great. -A little too easy, and then a huge difficulty turn in Hard Mode. -I liked the point system when you beat it, but after you beat it once, not many reasons to try again...
If you dont like my reasons, go ahead and challenge them. Ill go more in depth with them.
While I enjoyed the game, It still suffered the usual problems from Tale's Games...

It was good, but I didn't really like it as much as most others, for some reason. Some things I didn't like would be: -Battles are WAY too short. This made the game MUCH worse than it should've been. -The characters were..blah. -The animations(out of battle, like the ever so freqent slapping of Genis) didn't seem right -Too easy -Music wasn't that good

Well I liked it.
I thought the battle system was genious.
I actually liked the music. There were a few songs that were stupid, but most of them were good.
I liked the characters. Some of them were annoying. Like Colette. Just like in real life, there are annoying people.
I haven't played any of the other Tales games. If I had, maybe I'd be disappointed too, but oh well. I liked it.
