Why does this not surprise me??? Bernie Sanders is the organizer of this. The man too liberal for the Democratic Party. Let it be known, I, Alucard1057, a mostly liberal, am in favor of the bailout. It is a government precaution so that the economy doesn't collapse on itself. Laissez-Faire just doesn't apply anymore, gone are the day of Adam Smith.
Um, it's fiscal liberalism, and government interference in the economy, that caused this mess in the first place. "Affordable housing" legislation forced the banks to give loans to people who would never have qualified for them otherwise.
And the US government doesn't
have billions upon billions of dollars for handouts anyways. They don't have
anything. Either this money is going to be borrowed and the debt blown up even more, or it's going to have to be printed, causing inflation and a devaluation of the dollar. Both options are hardly solutions for preventing an economic disaster; quite the opposite, actually.
