I don't even want to know what the person who invented this was thinking. The thought of getting stabbed with something like this f-ing scary, and the survival rate of victims that have this used on them would be almost 0%.
Its badass but f-ing scary at the same time.

Most people don't really like to be that close to "large land mammals," which is what the website described as what the knife was aimed towards killing. I don't think that guns would be all that effective while you were in the process of getting gored by a large animal, so this knife does have a good purpose. Though I probably missed the point altogether. rolleyes

It doesn't matter what the knife was designed for. Yeah, it sucks to be up close and personal with a ******** bear. But HUNTERS needn't get that close. Hunters have GUNS. Hunters can stay the ******** away from their prey before it's dead. And otherwise, there's more than one way to protect yourself from a bear. PEPPER SPRAY has been PROVEN VERY EFFECTIVE against bear attacks.
We should be developing more effective forms of pepper spray. If you make a ******** hella deadly knife, no matter WHAT you make it for, someone will buy it and kill someone with it. Self defense from animals is a step away from self defense from humans, which isn't even a full step away from murder.

True, but then you wouldn't have this awesome knife. And people are going to kill people no matter what weaponry they have available.
