I started into martial arts when i was 7 and i had 2 years of informal training in Kali with my grandpa from the philippines - who never spoke english... and i don't know tagalog... - as well as straight fight training from my dad who was a navy seal and some formal ninjutstu (bujikan). i've also wrestled and done som muay thai and jujitsu. so, 10 years later, i'm very much not a martial art purist by any stretch if the imagination.

I didnt really have much formal training. I started when I was eleven, and it was essentiallyme and my friends just beating the crap out of eachother. As the years went by, we just slowly gained a good sence of "fighting". we were pretty good street fighters, but it wasnt till I turn fourteen that I started with hardcore martial arts. I enrolled in the Zhong Yi Kung -Fu association and studied Northern Shaolin kung fu. From there I just incorperated my own style, while learning extra stuff on the side. To this day, I am sufficient in Drunken Fist kung fu, Snake fist Kung fu, Northern Shoalin, and Sumo. I like to consider myself a library of martial arts. And, like any martial artist that has studied more then one art, I incorporate all of what I know into my own unique style of martial arts.

hmmm... *thinks*
i wonder what might happen if you and i were to clash, chow... it might be interesting... perhaps action packed with interested people taking pictures and video with their phones while we're on the UW Madison campus.
if only... wink

Speaking of, When i went to camo this year, our arena was all torn up.
that huge squard of collored bricks that made for teh perfect sparing arena? completely destroyed because fo teh construction thats going on down there.
I was so mad!!!!
