Now, here's a discussion about posting styles.

No, not like the colorful text and all that. I'm talking about small habits when you're posting something. Like, something you often do when you're posting something.

Here's a list of what Aine does:

Switches between first and third person at random, within the same post, and maybe even the same sentence- I often write a sentence referring to myself in the first person, then in the next use third, talk a bit more in first, and use another sentence in third. It's... odd.

Use a lot of ellipses- If you don't know what those are, they're these: "......"

Sometimes uses more complicated terms than necessary- If I'm talking about a dog, sometimes I say "canine". Or "feline" when talking about a cat. I also don't usually say "boy" or "girl", or "man" or "woman", but "male " and "female". I'm pretty sure there's more examples.

Occasionally use British spellings than American- The main example is the word "grey", but there are other examples.

Immediate correcting of spelling- If I find I misspelt something, I immediately go ahead and correct it. I get particularly frustrated if I don't know how it's spelt, or if someone quotes it before I correct it. Same goes for grammar.

Cussing- Sometimes. I say things like "crap", "damn", "a**"/"arse", and such things when it's an appropriate situation, but I only really get into the more nasty ones if I'm angry.

Actions- I use stars (such as *) whenever I'm writing out an action.

XD- I use this WAY too much. D:

Bleh. Sin's way of typing is strange.

As pointed out by friends, Sin types to fast(can't help it my RPM ish amazing) and uses her pinkies.(Sinse when is that strange? Bleh?) and normally only uses one hand because of lasyness and the fact that she types faster that way.

Uh. Sin's spelling. -caught- Is...Uneake? I spell things how they sound most of the time. And most of the time it is wrong.

I use -- things around actions >.>; It makes sin happy.

3 rd person randomness- I relay knead to stop that now that I started using sin as an OC and not as a personification of myself. But its a habiit! >.<

Oh. When I want to enfisise something I always lengthen the last vowel like you would in singing, instead of the last letter like most people do...I like it better that way ^-^.

If I add ie to one more thing I think someone will shoot me. >.>;

I type out emoticons a lot...I like them. They are my frieends.

I have a habit of capitalizing random beginnings of words. Dono why. I just do it sometimes.

If I start ranting I tend now to use punctuation. Heh. It gets scary.

OH! sin uses ish insted of is a lot. and Ebil insted of evil and confuzzled insted of confused. Habbit I gess

I use ** around actions unless I am RPing.

If it wasn't for Google spell check my stuff would be a jumble of words.

I try not to cuss too much, but I do sometimes if I let myself.

I forget to use punctuation at times..

I spell gray grey sometimes. Depends.

I start way too many of my sentences with I.

There is this thing above people's posts that says "edit posts" when you are a mod heart Anytime I misspell/misgrammar(?) something and someone in the guild quotes me before I can fix it I edit my mistake out of their post.

I swear a lot. Whenever I'm posting using my phone I almost always say ducking instead of ******** because my phone is a b***h like that. It never happens in the guild though because I cant post in the guild on my phone.

I tend to capitalize words a LOT to emphasize them. And if I already emphasized a lot of words in one post I'll capitalize and put **s around words that I really really want to emphasize the most.

I dont misspell often because I have an automatic spell checker. I think I would die without it o___O

My typing is kind of half arsed... like I'll have my hands on the proper keys but I look at the keyboard at the same time for some things if my words look off when I type them. I also use backspace a lot to correct what I type. Sometimes I type with one hand if I'm reading something else while posting,

I almost always go over my posts to make sure I spelled everything right and to make sure my grammar is ok as well. But sometimes I forget a word or a comma or something and don't realize it until after I've already posted. But I always correct it once I see I made a mistake like that. I always gonk when I see a post of mine with a mistake quoted because then I can't correct in then. (even though I can go in and edit a post I just won't let myself do it. >_>)

And sometimes I end up doing something else and I get logged out while my post a reply window is up. Also a lot of the time I type up a post but then decide I don't feel like posting so I don't.

Sometimes I use ^^ XD and D< a lot and when I notice I've been using them a lot lately I try to change it to emotes or another way to express the same thing because I hate over using some expressions and just doing the same ones all the time. And I try not to put down my run on thoughts like I did in this post. ^^;;

Unfortunately, once again, I'm kind of a goody-two shoes, and wouldn't abuse my powers, even in such a minor way that possibly couldn't even count as "abuse". So, I just make a gonk face and move on. XD

Gah. Now I'm using that emote again. D:



On the subject of spellcheckers, my laptop doe not have one, but the family PC does. Aine uses it, but it thinks random words are misspelt, even if I spelt them correctly. Shut up, "spelt" is a word... in Britannia! Though, sometimes, I just use the American spelling, just to get it off my case. XD

Speaking of using the British spelling, glad I'm not the only one that does that at times. XD

Oh, forgot to mention. Sometimes I get up while typing something, to go do something. Sometimes it takes a while for me to post. As a result, I copy-and-paste things that I wrote that are long, so that I don't have to write them all over again if I take too long. XD
