K SO. I was a bad person and gave up on gaia for a week. Or two.
So what I'm going to do is send out all the crowns now. Then sometime randomly in September I will finish the Spirit Month. I know September is far away, but I'm moving out to school in less than a week and starting school and a new job and stuff so I dont think I will get a chance to run the last spirit month events before next month. And the prize for the winning team is a September letter anyways sooo it works out, right? Right heart

OMG! As you all know its summer (like DUH) and summer is a time for fun! biggrin And I think this guild needs a little more fun. Its ok to be slow and quiet in the winter, everything is slow and quiet in winter time. BUT NOW its summer and its time to get excited!
I decided to run a 5 week long guild event! I know thats a long event, but I wanted to do something that would last most of the summer.
Its kind of like a spirit month, and its also a contest. There will be 2 teams Each week will have a different theme and different contests. The two teams will compete against each other for a big prize in the end. The prizes will be:

I think it would be really cool if the whole sg all had one item in common. Hence why everyone gets a birthday crown biggrin Crowns are totally bonding.
Each team will have a team color. You guys can pick a color in the poll and the 2 colors with the most votes win biggrin

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Daily Events:
By daily I mean whenever I feel like updating them. Each daily event will last exactly 24 hours.
Know your teammates!: Everyone on the team should pm me one or two unique facts about themselves. I will choose a fact from one member of each team each day (or every few days, whatever >.>). Then on this thread's poll I will have 10 random facts, 5 for each team. Two facts will be the true facts. I will tell you who the fact is about, and if the correct fact gets the most votes in the poll, the team wins 15 pts. I dont know if this explanation makes sense so just let me know if you dont get it sweatdrop
And I know its very easy to cheat in this, but remember how much hate Pixie and Dukes got when they cheated? You dont really want that do you? heart
Word of the Day!: I will pick one random word each day...ish. Each team you use that random word in the guild your team gets 1 pt. The word MUST make sense in your post. You cant just be like "I like cheese. Gregarious." It has to be something like "Marly is so gregarious! She's always around and talking and having fun"
Each weekly event will start on Sunday at 12am est and end on Saturday at 8pm est
June 29th - July 5th
Colors Week - Wear your team colors!
Events:
Avi Contest - the best avi using team colors wins 20 pts for their team. The one with the 2nd best avi wins 10pts for their team, and 3rd best avi wins 5pts for their team. The avi contest will be held in the CB so non SG'ers can vote in the polls. Because I'm pretty darn sure the SG will be biased towards their team and thats not fair.
Link Contest - post links to the GCSG all over the internet. In your journal, your sig, in the CB, in your posts in other guilds, on your myspace, your facebook, wherever. Post in here links to your links and whatever team has the most links wins 75pts **You may not post the link in your post style or in any forums besides the CB.
July 6th - July 12th
Old West Week - dress up as cowboys, cowgirls, indians, saloon people, gold miners, anything old west.
Events:
Avi Contest - Same rules as above, except avis most have an Old West theme instead of same colors. Same points as above.

July 13th - July 19th
Pimps and Hos Week - You know we're all dirty and perverted biggrin Let your avi show your inner pervert. <3
Events:
Avi Contest - Best dressed Pimp/Ho wins. Same rules as above.
Panty Auction! - 3 People per team auction off their panties biggrin It will be done outside of the guild. The team that earns the most gold wins 75pts. All the winnings will go to the gamemaster mule to be used for future guild contests and events. There will also be an in guild panty auction that will not be for points. It will be in the guild and anyone can join, no limit. All proceeds still go to the guild.
July 20th - July 26th
Pajama Party Week - biggrin PJ IN THE SG! Dress in your most comfy pajamas and slippers and bring your stuffed animals, it will be fun!
Events:
Avi Contest - Same as above with pajamas.
Sleepover in Towns - Hang out in towns with the SG all night (or as late as you're awake). Time and Place TBA.
Scary Stories - You know that game where one person write a sentence, then the next person writes and sentence, and so on until you have a story? Thats what this is. The story has to be scary and good around the campfire biggrin No points for this, just fun.
July 27th - August 3rd
Cosplay Week - Cosplay anyone, anything.
Events:
Avi Contest - Best Cosplay wins.

Also during every week you can make up your own events, roleplay, whatever.

Sign Ups will go until June 27th. I will be splitting you into teams by when you sign up. 1st person to sign up is team 1, 2nd team 2, 3rd team 1, 4th team 2, etc.
There will also be judges. Judges are anyone who wants to participate but not compete and therefore can judge fairly and without bias biggrin Judges get a July birthday crown too.
Team Colors will be chosen on June 25th. Then teams can come up with a team name biggrin It has to have the color in the team name because I said so <3 Like it has to be "The Yellow Cyanide Suckers", not just "The Cyanide Suckers" Team Names must be chosen and pm'd to me by June 27th, anytime.
