Life was good, better than it ever had been before. Especially when you compared it to the life of a prisoner she lived before in that place with that male, the one who gave her the scars across her forehead, the scars that were oh so noticeable and the ones that everyoe asked about. She sighed, but smiled. Uzu never asked about them more than he had that one time. Uzu was so wonderful, she cared for him, Kijani did, but she was unsure of what she felt.

Was it normal?

Kijani wandered the outskirts of the pridelands in search of, something, someone, perhaps she should seek out this 'Rage' Uzu knew, but perhaps it would be better to do that with him at her side.

Ishi'hiari had come back, back to this place where she knew her friend was, had gone, would be. Flicking her tail as she walked she had a smile on her maw, a bounce in her step, she had found her purpose in this life, found where she could be a ilght to others, though, would it work, would it be as she wished it to? Kayin was gone though, had left, said something about someone after him, he would have to leave for the sake of the cubs.

She hoped he was alright...

Kayin had been so kind to her, and she had found her way now, adn for that was happy. "Where is she?" she wondered to herself as she walked through the tall grasses.

There was new life, life everywhere, Kijani could see the movement of cubs in the distance, new life, and she smiled, felt warm. What would it be like to be a mother? Hnn, she could wonder all day, but nothing would come to her nad give her the answer she wanted, the satisfaction she wanted. Flicking her tail she let her eyes focus on the ground as she moved about. Yes, here was good, such a nice spot to stay out in the sun.

A moving figure was in the near distance though...

However, Kijani did not feel alarmed, not at all. She smiled, felt proud of herself, she was growing alright, becoming stronger, more secure, yes, all of this was because of Uzu, yes...Uzu.

"Where is she?" Ishi said aloud, seeing a figure in the distance, unflinching, and she wondered if it was a male, a guard or scout that was prtecting these lands. For a moment she considered heading back and turning to go on a run, but, then where would she be? No. She would take a stand, she was here to seek out a friend of hers, see how she was, give some news and be on her way again.

She was no threat at all.

But upon further inspection Ishi found herself peering forward at a familiar green pelted female, and her eyes glinted with happiness, "KIJA!" she called out and started at a run.

Kijani flopped onto her side and outstretched her arms in the sunlight letting the rays of sun cascade over her green pelt which blended so nicely with the grass around her/ She smiled contently and closed her eyes, just basking in the wonderful warmness that touched her. Though something broke her from this tranquility, and she opened her eyes, lifted her head.

That voice...

She propped herself up again just in time to see the bright orange and purple pelted female get into range, and she hopped up into the air, waving her paws as if trying to signal her towards her. "ISHI!" a smile was apparent on her maw.

Ishi couldn't have been happier knowing that her friend Kijani remembered her well. She slid to a stop nad caught her breath, eyes shining with delight, "Kijani, I've missed you, how have you been?" she asked while nudging her head against the other female's forehead.

This was life.

"I cannot stay long I'm afraid, but I wanted to see how you were, tell you something before I go on my way again," she said with a nod. She wondered if Kijani had any stories for her as well.

Kijani returned the friendly headbutt gesture and smiled, listened to her friend's words, was saddened that she could not stay long, but also understood that Ishi had a life out in the roguelands, and Kijani was here in the pridelands with Uzu. Flicking her tail she pulled back and sat on her haunches, thought of what she could tell her friend before she went on her way, and before she would go back and tell Uzu that she saw Ishi again.

"It has been good Ishi, I've been staying with Uzu here, its nice. So much life ehre! Its wonderful, and I'm happy, but what about you, please tell me before you have to go."

"Thats great Kija! I'm so happy for you," she said with a smile. Ishi was happy that Kija was here nad happy with Uzu, the male she was fond of apparently Sitting back onto her haunches as well she smiled, blushed slightly, "I found my purpose Kija, what I was looking for before and after we separated form one another again. I feel so delighted, so hopeful, its such a wonderful feeling." she said with a nod.

Yes, such a wonderful feeling.

"I met this male, Kayin, he is so nice Kijani! So nice, but he had to leave for the protection of me and...others," she wanted to keep that part a secret so that maybe Kija would visit her. "But he was wonderul Kija, truly wonderful company."

"Kayin?" Kijani said with a wink, as if hinting at other ideas. However, Kija knew how nice it was to have someone to talk to, relate to, someone that would keep you from being alone, just like Uzu was to her, but she cared for him as well, adn she was not sure how this Kayin and Ishi were together...if they had feelings for one another. But he left her...but, left her to keep her and...others safe.

What others?

"Ishi, he sounds wonderful, what was he like? He kept you feeling safe yes? Did you have a wonderful time with him?"

"Yes," nodding, Ishi loved the name Kain, it seemed to fit him rather well. She beamed with happiness while basking in the sun with her friend, this was wonderul, being here, sitting with a friend talking about another wonderful friend and experience.

Truly wonderful indeed.

"He was so caring and happy all the time. He had quite an appetite as well, but was so wise Kija! You wouldn't believe the stuff he said, how he spoke, so wise and intelligent,!" at least in her opinion he was, Kayin was just truly wonderful all together. "How about Uzu, how is he?"

"He sounds so nice, too bad he had to leave you and..others," she let it trail off, figured it would not be good to pry. "Uzu is just wonderful, he is so nice and always makes me feel welcome here," she closed her eyes, could literally see Uzu and his smiling face looking back at her with those gorgeous eyes of his.

Opening her eyes again she laughed softly, shook her head, "He's so cute Ishi...though misses a friend of his that lives here. Evidently he has not seen them in a while, so we are both going to go visit them." Yes, making friends of Uzu's friends would be a great experience she guessed.

Ishi stood up and stretched her legs, smiling, and thought of where Uzu might be, close by? Perhaps not or he would be here with Kijani afterall. "I must meet him when I come to visit you again Kijani, he sounds so nice, I would love to meet this friend of his as well, and you'll know who the others are in time, I assure you, I promise," she said with a smile.

She took a few steps towards Kijani and touched her forehead to hers again, "I'll come back to visit with them, I promise, you just promise me you'll still be so happy and full of life when I get back. Alright?"

Kijani laughed lightly at Ishi's statement and butted her ehad against her friends, "Of course I'll still be happy, full of happiness in fact, full of life and wonderful feelings!" she said almost exclaiming them to the whole prideland vacinity. "But you promise me that you'll come back to visit soon, with these others, or I will come and find you," she said with a smirk.

Oh yes, she would go find her.

They were truly wonderful friends, and Kijani was sad to see this meeting come to an end so quickly. "Come back soon Ishi."

Ishi'hiari nodded at Kijani and pulled away, took a few steps and glanced back at her friend. "I'll come back, and tell Uzu and his other friend, any of his other friends or anyone else you befriend while I'm gone, that I would like to meet them, I'm sure they will be wonderful."

With that she waited for a nod from Kijani, turned and began to walk away from the pridelands, her friend, but she would be back, and have a surprise in store for her friend.

The future looked so bright, as bright as the sun.

Kijani nodded at Ishi and watched her turn tail and leave. Kijani was happy for her brightly pelted friend, and was gad that she had met this Kain that seemed to have made her so happy and help her find her place, her purpose in life. It made Kijani wonder if Uzu could help her find such a thing. She smiled, stood up and turned to walk and find him.

She couldn't find out unless she asked and found out for herself without him now could she?

Things were so wonderful.

So wonderful.
