Hey, guys. Remember my other post, where I liked this guy? Well, I asked him out, and was rejected. Twice. Turns out the teasing of...everyone...got to him. *Sigh* Well, honestly, that's not why I'm here.
This is about my...dude...friend...thing. xD What a great description!
Well, anyways. I met this guy, let's call him K^2. Well, K^2 and I were introduced through two other friends of mine, T and K^1. At first I thought he was a bad guy; I mean, sneaking out of a school dance isn't exactly a good thing, right? Well, I got to know him a little more, and he's actually a pretty awesome dude!
The thing is...for some reason, everyone in my class HATES HIM. (No, by the way, he doesn't go to our school.) I really have no clue why! They just do, I guess. Probably 'cause he asked out two girls (who had bad dates, I guess, because neither of them continued dating him) in our class. I have no real clue. But he's awesome, funny, and his hair is fun to braid when you're bored! Also, he has pretty eyes. ^^
I think I might feel attracted to him...I mean, he's been nothing but nice to me, even when I threw the ketchup-covered fry at him and it landed in his hair! (Long story short - he was trying to get me to eat when I wasn't hungry.) And I think I was hit on multiple times by him at the last dance (no, not a school dance).
The problem, you ask? Well, I was supposed to like someone else. Two girls from my class (who think K^2 is odd) asked me, "Do you like him?" I have difficulty answering those questions, because if I get to know someone, I might just like them! That was my answer, and now...yeah, let's just go with the fact that I'm screwed.
What do I dooooooo?! Help meeeeeee!!

I'm...not seeing a huge problem here. So the rest of your class doesn't like him, so what? It's not like you need their permission to date someone, they aren't your parents, and if you care that much about what they think about you, just don't tell them that you're going out, simple as that.
Unless of course you mean you're not sure what to do with him. If I were you, I'd ask him out. He seems like a pretty cool guy, and who knows why those other two girls didn't pan out with him? I doubt that you'll be able to get an un-biased account of what happened that night, and the next time they ask you if you like someone, just tell them,"If you want to know that badly, then come along on my next date, and see if it's them."
