Bars forming all around me,
shooting up from all sides.
Just a little further...
Grasp my hand,
hold it tight.
just a little further...
The pillars of society,
extinguish my progress.
Break the pillars down...
Call my name!
Give me something to remember my identity with.
break the pillars down...
Labeled we are, with our identities torn,
it gave us material names to compensate.
Free me from my chains...
Give me my spiritual name,
to fight this holy war.
free me from my chains...
I must break the ceiling,
that it has built over me.
I have the power to will...
I have formed my beliefs,
and earned my right to freedom.
I will break this cage...

this is really good. i liked how you used repetition of the lines until the end. i know exactly how you feel about being caged.
