[omfgi'msolatewiththis. -stupid-] Welcome to Sarabi and Tawn's (but mostly Sarabi's... hey, she's the one carrying the kids, it''s only right xP) baby shower! n___n At this shower, we'll be cooing over Sarabi's giant stomach, making sure she's eating for two instead of just herself, and forcing giant gifts onto her to help her cope with the burden she's carrying! xp
Party starts at 7:30 PM EST time on the 31st of August, and will run for however long we feel like... So drop by! Sign the guestbook! Give awesome gifts! And mostly, wish the expecting parents good luck!

 The baby shower is being held at the House - that's Moofuls' mansion, for those of you that don't know. xD There are a couple of floors, but we're staying on the first floor. That's where the foyer, living room, and kitchen are. ;3 Snacks are in the foyer, stretched out on a loooong table. In the living room, there's a place to put gifts, and in the kitchen food is being whipped up for a giant luncheon that'll be held after Sarabi opens the gifts. If you'd like, you can explore the other areas of the House, but for the most part, we're sticking to those three rooms. heart
At the snack table: Small paper plates, paper cups, a giant bowl of strawberry punch (strawberry fruit juice and ginger ale), a plate of crackers, a variety of dips (be creative! XD), a fruit tray, a vegetable tray, small slices of cake on a tray, mini pigs-in-a-blanket, eclairs, small crustless sandwich triangles, a bowl of pretzels, a bowl of plain chips, and situated on a tray in the center, a baby-shaped cake that will be cut after presents are unwrapped.

 This is the gift table! biggrin If gifts are dropped off here at the party, they'll be placed here, so we can keep track of them easily. The name(s) of the person/people who dropped them off will be put on cards so the expecting parents can see who got them what. Gifts are NOT mandatory, however, they are appreciated. xP

Sarabi: Sarabi is the expecting mother. Her and Tawn met when they were young, and have been best friends ever since. She lived with Doomi, her mother for most of her life, then moved into an apartment with Tawn. She enjoys the color pink, reading, playing the drums, music, babysitting and joging (how else is she going to get rid of all the extra fat?). Shes the music teacher at the local Skullmonkey High School, a job she enjoys very much. Her and Tawn were married recently, and she is expecting twins. She is slighty shy infront of new people, but onced used to them, she is extremely friendly, and would do anything for her friends. Shes slightly slow (the bud of many dumb blonde jokes xD; but shes intelligent. She is extremely excited about the pregnancy, but a little edgy and nervous. (info by Doomi <3 <3)
Tawn: Tawn is the expecting father. (And he's expecting that the happy shock will wear off soon, and he'll realize what this means! XD) He and Sarabi have been best friends since they were children, and companions since adulthood, when Tawn waited for Sarabi to receive a fifth stage item so they could change together. Tawn, the son of Emelyn, is the eldest of four children, and is the only male in the whole household, so he knows how to take on the role of the 'protectorate'. He's always loved children, and is in charge of the Skull Monkey pebble nursery- so he's no stranger to the little ones. ...Even so, the idea of having twins makes his stomach twist (with excitement, but twist nonetheless!)... imagine how his wife must feel!! Lenta had been up all morning, cooking orderves and hanging banners and blowing up balloons and cutting ribbon and - well, let's just say she was busy and leave it at that. She had ended up asking for Fenwrit's help with decorating the outside of the house, and in Fenwrit's own way, he had done just that. Using some very helpful spells from an old book in the library, the BM Jivvin had successfully colored the outside of the House bright neon pink. Lenta was in awe. It was exactly the color she had wanted! Fen had even made it so the fireplace spewed balloons out of the chimney instead of smoke. Absolutely brilliant, he had thought, after completing the spell. Misae would be proud of him for helping.
Now that all of the decorations had been finished, and the snacks had been placed on the table in the foyer, all Lenta had left to do was wait for guests. After driving down to the dock to pick Mauli up (and forcing her to buy herself a dress for the occasion), she, Kailee, and Mauli had all come back and situated themselves in the House. Kailee was in the kitchen, ready to whip up any extra food the party-goers would need. Mauli was in the living room, wrapping the present she, her mother, and her daughter had made, and she would be in charge of making sure her best friend and expecting mother was comfortable. And Lenta was in the foyer, dressed in her finest suit and eager to greet guests. This baby shower was sure to be a blast!

Sarabi pulled up to the house in her pink car, her eyes in awe widening at the sight of the bright pink house. She steped out of the car leaning on the side of the car for support. The house looked amazing! The balloons were the perfect touch. The work of Fen, no doubt. She put a hand on her now quite large belly, smiling. She waddled herself up to the door, and wrang the doorbell.

Lani inside helping set the decorations and sliz Eating.. Pop rocks and cola. The decorations were beautiful as the house was. He didnt remember how he had gotten where he was, but thinks that he got knocked out by his sister and dragged. He smiled and saw the doorbell ring and opened the door, smiling. "Hello Sarabi."

Lenta bounced over to the door after Lani had opened it, then grinned at Sarabi. "Hey!! Oh wow, look at that, the kids are already ready to get out! Come on, come on, don't stand outside all day, let's get you settled in before the others arrive!" She laughed aloud, then grabbed Sarabi's hands and pulled her inside, giving her a swift hug and being careful not to let her own kid-pudged stomach bang into Sarabi's. Then, she looped arms with the SM woman, prancing into the living room, face wreathed in a grin.
"Look who's heeeeere!"
"Sarabi!! S'been a while huh?" Mauli exclaimed, swiftly shoving the newly-wrapped gift over by Fen's armchair. She stood, beaming at the sight of Sarabi's swollen stomach. "Wooow, lookitchoo!"

"Hey Lani." She said happily, but before she could say anymore, the door swung open, and she was flung inside. It had certinly been awile since she had seen Lenta. She excepted her hug warmly and stood back to look at her. She was indeed pregnant, even a little more that Sarabi was. Then she heard Mauli's voice, and turned around excitedly, and wraped her in a hug. "I know! Im as fat as a hippo!" She said, staring down at her large beach ball belly.

Tawn came in behind his wife, carrying her bag.
"Sorry- I didn't want to park the car on the nice lawn." He still felt a little strange driving Sarabi's car... but, well... she couldn't exactly get behind the wheel anymore. The first thing Tawn noticed, looking around the room, was the decor.
"Thank you for throwing this shower, Ms. Lenta." He smiled at the old friend of his mothers...and hoped that Sarabi would kick him out of the whole ordeal. His mother was coming soon, and he felt that she belonged at a baby shower more than he did.

After scanning the room for Kailee, Mauli leaned towards Sarabi and whispered in a confidential voice, "That just means they're healthy. You shoulda seen my stomach when I was preggers with Kailee, I was still thin as a toothpick..."
"Mauli!" Lenta exclaimed, laughing.
"It's true!" Mauli grinned, then shrugged. "But she turned out okay. I was worried, a mix of my genes and Isto's is only a recipe for disaster."
"Your kids are going to be wonderful, Sarabi~" Lenta said in a sing-song voice, twirling on the spot. For an overdue woman with twins, she seemed quite energetic. Maybe she had just overdosed on the Red Bull today. xD Then, she noticed Tawn had entered. She grinned, stepping to his side and shaking his hand firmly. "Congrats, you old scoundrel you!"

Tawn blushed- almost enough to show a rosy glow through his dark cheeks, at being called a 'scoundrel'.
"Uh... thanks." He said, a nervous laugh accompanying a rub of the back of his neck. He came forward and put his hand in the small of Sarabi's back, letting her know that he was still behind her, without her having to turn around- not an easy feat for a woman pregnant with twins.

Sliz ran up to Sarabi and climbed on her shoulder, giving her a light lick. She smiled and jumped off, jumping over to the couch, she looked like a flying squirrel.. Weird.

Beaming, Lenta swayed on the spot, absolutely thrilled to see two of her daughter's oldest friends together. They were so adorable!~
Mauli straightened out some wrinkles in the front of her dress, then winked at Tawn, resisting the urge to laugh. "Good to see you 'gain, Tawn. I see you've been taking care of the wife."
