Im fourteen and im in 9th grade and i just started to get pimples this year. and i want to just hide my face because i cant make them go away and i know teenagers are supposed to get them but it seems like nobody else does? What am i supposed to do?

It's a normal part of a teenager's life. Some people are just that lucky to not get them but unfortanley you and I [xD proper grammar] are not part of that group. You can try using all those acne solutions they show on t.v. in commercials. I find Proactiv works best for me. There's Clean and Clear, Proactiv, and a ton of others. Or you could go to your dermatologist and see if they'll proscribe something for it.

Stridex. Every day. twice a day if needed.

This will really depend on the type of skin you have.

Since you've just gotten your "adult skin" (yes, they do not fade even if you're out of your teenaged years, LOL... it might calm down, but be ready for a lifetime of acne), then I suggest some very mild treatments to start it off.

You might not even have to introduce chemicals to your skin yet. Just warm water and a good scrubbing with a cold washcloth twice a day. Oil blotters would help as well... those are pretty easy to find in stores.

Exfoliate your skin once a fortnight. You should be able to read up on exfoliation on the internet and find the most convenient and comfortable way to do that yourself.

Shamera's right - it all depends on the skin. My skin is not rough, but it's not butter-cream-soft, either. It's like paper, but really delicate.

3nodding Do 3nodding : Wash your face gently every night with soap and water (Dove works best for most skins.) If it worsens, try one type of cleaner. If it gets better, stick with that for a while. Eventually, you'll have to change. (Stupid skin builds up some kind of resistance to the chemical mix in the cleaner.)

wahmbulance Don't wahmbulance : DO NOT scrub your face hard. That makes it 5x worse. Don't switch cleaners every week, the mix of chemicals will be bad on the skin.

Acne (noun) |ac ne'| : An inflammatory disease involving the sebaceous glands of the skin; characterized by pimples or pustles, usually occuring on the face.

Yeah i have noticed that when i do a ruitine for a while, it will start to not work as well as it did the first time. i found out that for me, when it stops working so well, just start using soap and water again and it works.

Some people get them, some people don't, some people covers them up with makeup (although their skin doesn't love it). You need to eat healthy, drin lots of whater, don't touch your face to much. And go to your local drugstore and get something for your pimples (don't forget something like a mozitriser to use after you have used your pimple-remover! Good luck ! ^^

My brother agreed on buying me paper bags every month for as long I have pimples ^__^
Sometimes all those things you see on T.V take a long time to kick in, sometimes they don't work at all and you remain craterface.
Good luck though!
