((Started right outside the borders, will lead in soon enough though of course XD))

-She'd waited out there. Not like a lost puppy, sitting and watching the horizon wistfully, though truth be told there were a few hours she'd spent in said position in the past few days. But rather like a hopeful child, going about her daily life with one ear cocked to listen for a familar approach, soft glances then and again to the horizon that promised her a wonderful gift one of these days.

It was because of this, that she spotted the familar figure in the distance long before she might have heard him, or even perhaps him have seen her unless he was looking very carefully.

Lifting from the grasses, she felt her heart begin to pattered with excitement as his figure continued to move, not dissapearing like some delusion, in fact growing stronger the closer it came. He'd kept his promise! Her heart soared with that simple fact alone.

Bounding over a few steps to a small rock large enough to climb up onto, Isabis perched herself above the grasses.- "Hey there!" -Her voice sang out pleasantly.-

Several days had passed since his last meeting with the 'goddess'. Kweu had hated to say goodbye and gone off back home yet there were still many amends to be made- amends which he had yet of making as it seemed that somehow he had little luck with finding his brother Ayato, Tui or even his adopted siblings! He frowned slightly and gave a soft sigh, shaking his head as he wisked the thoughts from out of his mind. There was no time for sadness and he quickly replaced such thoughts with a smile to curl upon his maw as he wandered closer towards the watering hole.

Just like he promised, Kweu was retuning once again. His hopes were raised as a gentle breeze whisped about his mane, caressing against his face and back with a sensation that things were certainly looking up!

His mind, along with his heart, seemed to race as he drew closer. Although he hadn't had much luck with piecing together his family and there whereabouts or of the many other questions that laid in wait within his mind, Kweu'Chaka was estatic and quite anxious to once again meet with Isabis. Every time he was with her he always got such strange feelings- they were certainly pleasant and good yet he wasn't sure how to express them just yet or even if he should tell her. The poor boy wasn't familiar with any signs or knowledge of 'relationships' or really how to go about things in any way shape or form; that which he knew consisted of chivalry, kindness and compassion and though he remained oblivious it seemed that he was rather well rounded on knowing how to act even if he wasn't quite confident or believed in himself on the matter of such a subject.

Kweu took a deep breath, slowly planting himself down upon his haunches just as a familiar voice seemed to ring out and, instantly, he perked upwards.

Quickly rising to his paws with ears perked upwards, attentive and that familiar scent being wisked about by the breeze and clinging to his nostrils, Kweu'Chaka whirled around to see the pleasantly bright goddess. A smile couldn't help but widen across his maw- broad and bright as he chuckled.

"Hey stranger," he called out, walking forward a bit. "Long time no see, huh?"

"Yep" -She piped up immediately in reply, hopping down from the rock, to go meet him part of the way. And when she did, she bumped her shoulder against his in a soft show of affection that seemed only appropriate with her mood dancing this high. And after a brief few seconds of inspection, as if trying to assert once more that it wasn't just a dream, she grinned.

What are you doing out here? That was a silly question, she already knew both conciously because of the promise and subconciously because she felt that he probably mirrored the similar feelings she had. Atleast she hoped so, that deep inside he was as excited to see her as she was to see him. Nice day? That seemed kind of silly too. Ready to take me on another trip? Truthful, but seemingly pushy.-

"I'm glad to see you again so soon." -She settled on finally, continuing to stand instead of seating herself.- "Today is a good day for company." -It was true, the sky clear blue, a soft breeze hiding the usual heat of the day. It had all the signs of a very lovely and accomodating day.-

Kweu smiled, chuckling softly as she bumped into her shoulder. Already his heart felt as if it was soaring, flying, and a invincible feeling as if he could do anything or reach any star set high into the heavens only made that smile broaden across his maw. Although he had found out some information pertaining to his family that consisted of his mother bearing another litter of cubs and no one telling him, Kweu's mind seemed to drown out the bad as it becamed focused and singled out his entire attention upon the 'goddess'. He was estatic, pleased as his senses seemed lured to her- unable to focus away from her as he motioned to press into her slightly.

A deep rooted excitement seemed to grip at him, he tried to so hard not to make it seem so bold but it was getting a bit hard to contain. Aside from his heart already fluttering inside of his chest, he could feel a tingling in his toes while his nose seemed to crinkle- his feelings were certianly yearning to show but the poor young adult didn't want to make her uncomfortable or rush into things. Kweu smiled and chuckled softly, nodding his head.

"I'm glad too- I really hated counting down the time of when I would finally see you again," he commented softly, afraid he was perhaps being too bold or forward but glad that his true feelings were speaking and making her aware of just how he felt. "But thank goodness today's the day. It will be time well spent," he purred softly.

For the time Kweu remained standing, cerulean orbs leveled with hers as he again nodded his head. "Today is a great day for company," he corrected with a soft chuckle.

Along with clear, blue skies above and a soft, cool breeze that seemed to somewhat mask the typical heat, Kweu'Chaka couldn't help but glance around the surrounding area. Though the afternoon seemed pleasant, perhaps it would seem a bit more pleasant if they retreated into the more lush settings and features of the Prideleands that were often overlooked. A swim in the cool, relaxing waters or perhaps a stroll within the shade would be most appropriate.

"So what's on your agenda?" He commented, musing with a smile. "Would you like to go strolling through the jungles, take a swim, perhaps head back to our spot? I'm starting to think that a day like this deserves the opportunity to go into the more lush areas. Or perhaps you'd like a tour of the Pridelands? I do owe you the chance to experience what a family is like- I haven't fogotten," he added.

"Its up you you, Isabis."

-To thrilled to have company was she, or perhaps it was that she echo'd the sentiments, that his bold words had no ill effect on her, instead gaining another blissfully pleased smile and delicate little purr. Kweu had such a way with words, whether he realized it or not.

Something about her paws could not stand still when her pale and sunny was near, and it was apparent as once more, she found herself lacing and circling about him again. There was something charming about the fact that he was taller than her, bigger. It made her feel dainty and delicate, and safe too. She paused for a moment to rub her cheek against his side, ears lifting as his suggestions sounded.-

"A swim would be nice..." -She pondered aloud. Usually she bathed alone, but actually playing in the water, that would be a welcome treat. At the same time though.. she had been waiting for her trip..

Giggling a little softly, she tested the offer like a naughty child.- "I suppose it would be too much to ask.. Visiting your home AND taking a swim?"

His senses seemed to run wild as the delicate godess rubbed her cheek against his side, feeling her soft fur caress against his body as his eyes seemed to easily settle upon her. A smile seemed to broaden across his maw acompanied by a light chuckle as his tail seemed sway behind him and thump upon the ground. Whenever he was around her, Kweu felt strong, he felt like a protector or a guardian of something so precious and treasured and how it seemed that he was so fortunate lead him to thank Mkodi or whatever struck of luck he had crossed.

The creamy, yellow hued lion couldn't help but smirk. Oh the cleverness of her! Her teasing certainly struck something inside of him as Kweu again chuckled and nodded his head.

"Well- that might be asking for a little too much," he pondered, teasing as well as he arched a brow upwards. "But for you? Well I think we can make that happen. It just so happens that there is a perfect place to swim and its right nearby where my home is. Today must be your lucky day!"

Kweu'Chaka purred softly, that ever present smile stretching across his maw as he brused against her and nuzzled against her neck and up towards her cheek. Playfully the young adult tugged at her ear for a moment and then began to walk onto the well trodden path that weaved in the direction of Pride Rock. His body managed a teasing swagger, something which he had picked up from a certain newcomber to the Pridelands, as he looked back.

His pools of purest cerulean blue seemed to narrow towards her, the cogs of his mind simply turning while emotions and feelings for her coursed through his veins. She was one of a kind; a true diamond in the rough!

Kweu couldn't wait to introuduce her to his mother!

"Ready for some adventure?" He called out, unable to keep a grin from tugging at his maw.

-A honest to goodness pout touched her features as he teased her, believing for a fleeting second that she'd actually have to choose between the two. Before her brain could form the words of protest however, words far more like her dearest friend sounded and a grateful purr rattled through her butterfly bedecked body as he nuzzled her gently.- "So it would seem! You must be my lucky charm."

Giving her head a mild shake, to free her ear and resettle her tuft of hair, Isabis giggled a little more, before following after Kweu. His silly saunter, drew forth another brillantly amused smile from the 'goddess', and she followed just far enough behind to watch him.

Excited as she might be to see the pridelands, the lioness would never dare try to rush anything that she was doing with him, for fear of it all ending too soon. She'd rather never make it to their destination, if it meant was going to leave sooner. Thankfully, so far he'd shown, that he always came back.

The flutter of butterflies could be felt in her stomach and Isabis wondered softly the cause, her trip or her friend? Trying to push aside the thought for the moment, she mused mildly.- "It better be as beautiful as you always make it sound Kweu!"

Kweu tilted his head slightly as he pursed his lips thoughtfully, curiously while a small gleam lingered within his eyes. "A lucky charm?" Even saying such a thing was bizarre, near unthinkable that he, Kweu'chaka, was a lucky charm. The creamy, yellow hued lion chuckled softly. "I think the safest thing to place ones bet on would be a lucky break- the Gods must be smiling down upon you. Perhaps they're finding favor in us being together, hmm?" A warm, compassionate smile spread across his maw. "Maybe this is the start of something greater than we expected."

For a moment his gaze settled upon the Pridelands, staring towards the iconography of the land and drifting across the home he had known so well and a home of which he felt, somewhat, estranged from. Time was fleeting- it had eluded him and had brought a brand new array of twists and turns which even he hadn't of seen coming. But being back here felt right; it was hard to explain such a feeling yet deep inside of him he could feel his heart a-flutter, pulse rising and paws anxiously kneading at the ground beneath him. Ayato had a family, so he had heard, and his mother was, again, a mother to a new litter and Kweu? Perhaps it was best to say that the young adult was trying to make sense of his own life while courting a beautiful, elusive 'Goddess'. How he had come to be so fortunate was beyond him- never had he imagined that he would find such a pleasant, sweet tempered lioness who made him feel complete, wholesome. The thought of her never ceased in causing the male to smile, to feel elated and revel in the anticipation of when he would see her next. Like a faithful canine, Kweu always returned to the place the two of them would agree upon- devotion and infatuation was driving him to do whatever it took. It would be an unfortunate event if he ever would learn the truth and perhaps for that reason it was best that he stayed oblivious to such a reality.

It had never crossed his mind once, the male had never even considered such a thing! But if he found out one could be assured that his very foundation which he had come to know would crumble. And where that would leave Kweu was unknown.

Shaking his head he looked back, smiling if only a bit wider.

"I hope it will be," he remarked, only catching the last of her musing. "If its a disappointment then I apologize. We don't have to stay long if you don't want to- there's more than enough things to do around here." Calmly, his tail flicked behind him. "But with the heat already beginning to rise maybe its best we cool off first. The water hole around her is great- you'll love it!"

As he turned his head back toward the familiar landscape, the lion swallowed. Nervous? Yes. Kweu could admit that he was starting to feel butterflies taking flight within his stomach, knotting and twisting it with a bad anticipation. What WOULD his family say? But what were the chances of them even being there? He frowned. Perhaps he wasn't quite ready to see them. Kweu wasn't intentionally trying to break his promise to Isabis- rather it was him lacking the confidence to see his family. Biting his lower lip Kweu exhaled softly and shook free from the temporary chains of unsettled emotions.

No time to look back now. He'll worry about family later as right now it seemed they had a date with the watering hole.

Stepping out, the male swayed lightly from side to side. "Just follow me, we'll get there in no time!"

"It's great already." -Her answer was friendly, sincere, as her mind wandering to his words. Blessing... favor. From the other gods? The very thought brought her jubilation. Perhaps all of their spiteful vengence was gone... or some other gods had taken pity in her plight. Was she doing a good enough job... Isabis had never imagined it.. but could she possibly one day... earn her wings back?

Though he'd never agree, it was quite obvious that if it happened... it would have someone to do with him. Perhaps putting aside all the lamenting and worry.. and finding something else to enjoy and focus on had been enough. Or maybe it had something to do with the butterflies in her stomach...

Such heavy thoughts were not meant to be had on a day of light fun however, and after a long moment she shook her head physically, trying to throw away the ideas for another time.

The tips of her paws swatted at his tail as the mildly pessimistic words sounded, offering a simple.- "You shouldn't take teasing so seriously. I've never been dissapointed spending a day with you."

-And so she followed silently in suit, hurrying up closer, so her path set him at his side, only a few steps behind. Her smile glowing like the sun that baked down on them, her eyes danced here and there, watching the foreign lands as they mingled further and further inward. This seemed like a pretty nice place indeed.-
