-The recent days drifted by in blissful peace, Isabis finding herself delightfully contented with each day that she awoke, something that had been a rarity up until that fateful day she'd encountered her dearest friend.
But now things were fantastic. Though she didn't see him everyday, she could count upon seeing Kweu atleast a few times a week, and each excursion was fufilling enough to hold her over until the next time. Sometimes they'd explore a little, sometimes just talk, and of course the tours of wonderful places he'd shown her, those were amazing too.
Lost in her little world of contentment and joyful thoughts, Isabis lifted herself from the water's edge gracefully, seeming not to notice the few living butterflies that shifted to follow after her deceptive markings as she began to slide through the grasses. It would be a good day today, she knew it already.-

Hafidha had been fast asleep, the wee lioness curled up in the grasses where she'd finally become too tired to trudge on. Luckily she was small enough that only passing glimpses of her bright colors were visible to those who chanced close by, and not to any prospective hunters looking for prey from afar.
Dark ears came erect, however, upon hearing something or someone else who was steadily drawing near, the rustle of the grasses were almost soothing, however, and Hafidha was in no great rush to rise from her nap. Yawning, she stretched out full-length on her bed of plants and dirt, crimson eyes blinking blearily as she then rolled over, tiny paws batting at the air. With a soft sound of delight, Hafi sprang to her feet and went pattering towards the noise. Curiosity drove her as it always had, and she'd never met a creature that she hadn't taken to in some form or fashion.
The world was good to her now.

-Had the cub not been so bright, Isabis might have missed her, as she did when the little one was laying. However, the bright orange, mixed with the instant familiarity of markings lifted the lioness' curiousity as the small and still mostly hidden figure began to approach.
Pausing, she blinked once, before staring carefully at the creature, for it looked so much like some of the butterflies that often visited her. And yet it was so huge. Surely it couldn't be?
Curiousity got the best of her, voice calling out in a soft manner as her eyes stayed glued to the orange and black.- "Hello?"

-Gorgeous... a beautiful child of butterflies. Isabis found it hard not to stare the closer the cub came, too transfixed on how much it looked like a monarch, but as it greeted her, she offered back with a tenderness far greater than she'd usually give to a mere mortal.
Was this a child? Or could it be some butterfly, transmorphed with magic? Well, it didn't matter so much. It was alone for now, and she had always been the protector of butterflies, this one was just a little bigger than the others. Hafidha, she'd said her name was, the darling and personable little cub. And for a few days Isabis found herself intangled in the child.
She listened to stories, told some of her own. Fed and cleaned the young one, curled and cuddled at night. It was nice really... the extra warmth, the verbal appreciation and expressions of joy. Never had Isabis thought of being a mother to anything but the butterflies. But there was a joy in this right here. The soft rattling purr of the cub vibrating against her side.
Perhaps one day she'd be a mother herself, have a small flock of little godlings trailing after her. She could only wonder at what powers the children from her womb would encompass. Did other gods wonder such a thing? Probably not.. it was so hard to tell and guess. But surely... surely the ones from her would all have powers that were righteous and lovely.-

-Isabis was dissapointed, but not completely surprised when the next afternoon little Hafi announced she'd be moving on again. Isabis had no right to the child, no reason to try and stop a butterfly from it's freedom in flight, so she's simply nodded and joined the cub as it began to walk towards the horizon. She had things to do anyway, important things, so a child would eventually get in the way. But nonetheless the lioness had grown fond and comfortable with Hafi. She would never forget the child, and she promised as a goddess to always look after her from a far.
Traveling until the thick grasses picked up once more, she finally stopped, setting herself on the hill as she shouted her goodbyes out to the little girl. And there she waited, until the last bits of orange dissapeared from her sight.-
