1. Whether if you like the guy, or hate him, Brady is a good QB. True part of the Equation is having a great supporting cast around you to help you sucseed. But Even with the best receivers in the League, your not going to get anywhere with any random Joe-Bob of a QB. That and 4 Superbowl runs, 3 championships, you got to give the man his props.

Second, you said "they didn't make palyoffs 2 years ago" Wrong sir. Two years ago they finished 10-6 and 1st place in their division, where they eventually lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional round of the Playoffs 27-13.

And with the records Tom set this season, you can't toss them out the window. 589 total points, most ever in an NFL regular season. 50 TD passes. Most ever by a QB in a regular season. The list goes on. I will agree that having Moss helped Brady achieve this, but if it's all Moss carrying Brady, how come Dante Culpepper didn't post similar numbers any of the seasons he had Moss with him in Minnesota?

I never thought I would see the day when I would defend Tom Brady, but love him or hate him, you got to give the man the props he deserves. And even if Moss doesn't return next season, which he will be asking for a lot more money from the Patriots organization, The Patriots are still a great team. Brady proved without Moss he can fall back to Wes Welker as his #1 receiver and still sucseed. Even in a loosing effort Welker tied a Superbowl record 11 receptions. And looking at the rest of the AFC East, I see that Buffalo may gather their strengths enough to actually challenge the Patriots next season, but they will still be the favorites to win the East and make it back to the playoffs.

Now this, I garuntee.

As I've said in another post, I don't doubt Brady is a good QB, I just think he's a system QB... I think in most offenses, outside of Belichicks, he wouldn't be anything great.

Brady is no Peyton Manning

69.2% completion, 4717 yards, 8.6 yards per attempt, 39 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 110 passer rating. Those numbers may not be quite as good as Brady's this year but that is because Brady is better than Culpepper.

Maybe someday you will hear
The Patriots went 12-4 last year... and that isn't that bad. They did it without Moss, or Welker (2 best Offensive Players besides Brady)
Bye Heck, if they can go 12-4 without Welker or Moss, Surly they can do it again because I say the will Keep Welker, and get some new deffinsive players, a few Offensive players. I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots have more than 15 wins again.

Brady has been the best NFL QB overall, of the 2000's decade. He should be a Hall of Famer if he keeps this up, and does what he normally does.

...Give props to Brady, but also give props to Belichick (for winning with Brady), their owner and GMs/Scouts (for recruiting and obtaining a great offense for Brady to work with), and the offensive coordinator.

...Also, this is another reason why the Pro-Bowl isn't all that great. The Super Bowl Champion New York Giants only have 1 representative (Umenyora), and the best player in the league and MVP Tom Brady will be absent from this event.

That is absolutely the best post in this topic. Bravo. And on the Brady note, he's too busy going after nice asses to have the talent Peyton has.

Yea, they say Peyton about 40-50% of the time they are'nt playing or practicing, he's studying, working on his mechanics, talking to older Quarterbacks, and such.

Scramble for s**t? His arm more than makes up for scrambling, which isn't needed when you have a great offensive line. It's not kill the carrier...It's professional football, when winning is everything, and not the ability to scramble.

Look at Vick's football career (not legal or personal). "Mr. Scramble" himself hasn't had much success in the NFL has he?

Brady is a 3-time Super Bowl Champion, and I wouldn't bet if he mirrors that is his bright career to come. Brady is one of the greatest NFL players in history.

Also look at Peyton Manning, he's one of the best (if not the best) of all time.
And he's slow as idk what.
