The Super Bowl is this Sunday, and many are getting ready. Excitement is flaring. Parties are formed. The fans, personnel, coaches, and players are all getting ready for Super Bowl XLII between the New England Patriots and New York Giants, @ Glenndale, Arizona, at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
Many wish to go to the game, but that is a distant dream sweatdrop ...So, to have a little fun, I've decided to come up with an NFL Guild event for the Super Bowl. It will be a winner-score-accuracy event (as there are not enough active members for a traditional grid).
It's very simple. Here's how it goes...
Post your own projected score of the Super Bowl XLII game. Name both teams, and bold the team you predict to win. Next to each team, post the projected score for each team to score. (see my first post for a model)
A winner will be selected in this manor:
1. First, a winner needs to be determined. If you pick the losing team to win, you are automatically out. If you pick the winning team to win, you will move on to the point total.
2. Second, points will be taken into account. As you can guess, the person with the closest point total will win.
3. If there is a tie in point totals, accuracy will matter. The participant with the most accurate final score for each team will be victorious.
...I don't know anything about a prize...Maybe I can draw something up, or Nyu-Kun will be able to take a certain prize total out of the guild bank account.
