So, as you know, yesterday I learned how to twirl coins around my knuckles. I was practicing for like 1 hour before I showed off my skills to Raphaƫlle, and she was all wowed by my finger skills.
But guess what? Somehow, the feeling of knowing that I'm doing for once something that can actually make everybody go "Wow!" just gave me the confidence boost I needed to start asking girls out, even though this is something that usually makes me feel scared like hell! Today I asked this girl if she wanted to go somewhere. I just approached her and calmly said "so, can I have your phone number, in case something comes up, today or tomorrow?". Easy, simple, straightforward, no compromises.
She said no, but that's OK, you really have to be not social to reject something that innocent and casual. And besides, I already know other girls. so I still have more options to choose from.
See, my dear people of the NESG? All this massive confidence boost, something that changed my life, and all of that, because I learned to twirl coins around my knuckles! biggrin
