My father is a pagen, and I have been having troubles with my faith, and I know that the male authority in your life is supposed to be your spiritual leading in Christ, but I just don't know how to approach him.I have tried talking to him before, but he starts talking about what the other gods would do or start talking about the Christian faith and how it can be misleading in his eyes. I love my father, he is my best friend and the only parent I have, but I can't really rely on him to guide me. What should I do?

You should really learn to accept it. It is his choice just as its your choice to be Christian. He may be pagan but he is still your father Do not let that change that fact. We live in a country where it is okay to believe in whatever you choose to do. He is porbably just telling you that you shouldn't blindly follow. My father is an atheist and he tells me to question everything which I do. You can't say that he can't guide you because he is of a different faith. What kind of horrible little child are you? How can you say such a thing? He is your father and your only parent. He may not be of the same faith but he can still guide you on a true path that will make you see what has truly blinded you. My advice to you is do research and paganism and on Christianty. You do realize that early Christians/Catholics have slaughtered countless pagans.

He usullally does help me, but there are some things that he just disagrees with completely. He used to be Catholic until he was 12, and since then, he has disagreed with the majority of Christianity. I do accept his beliefs, but I need help with mine as well. We support each other in everything that we do, but sometimes, he isn't that accepting.

Don't try to make him guide you...allow God to guide you. God is everyone's father, why not allow him to lead you through your life? Fathers are important, but you don't need an earthly father to be your spiritual leader.

The advice is good. Until such a time that your earthly dad is able to offer a godly model, let God Himself be that to you. He promises to be father to the orphaned and husband to the widowed meaning he takes care of them. You are truly orphaned of course, but the spiritual aspect stands.
Do honor and obey him cus even if he is not Christian, God did give him to you as your dad, His representative on earth. So obey him unless he gives a command against what God has decreed, like tells you to sin, as in worshipping his gods. Respect his beliefs and pray for God to heal whatever it was that created the rift between him and God that he turned to paganism as a resort. Be a silent witness since he is not open to conversation.
And do question authority! It *is* possible to do so in a respectful manner. The Bible tells us we must be discerning and use our heads to measure all we are told against scripture. God does not want robots. Your dad has his own views and clearly cares about you not getting caught up in what he feels is misleading. His motives are good ones. He loves you.

The Bible says to honor your mother and father, and it sounds to me like you are doing that because you care about him and respect him. But you don't have to agree on everything. I don't agree with everything my parents believe, but I still love and respect them. Rely on God and pray for your father, it's all you can do ^_^
