When you think of the Raiders, you think of Al Davis. When you think of Al Davis, you think of the Raiders. Most owners make their money elsewhere and then buy a team. Al Davis bought the team and made his money with the team. He's awesome like that. I mean, he had the team for a long time and built it to become a great franchise, although, not so much the past two decades. Still, he's got his name all over the franchise and I can understand him not wanting to give it up. Everyone is all saying he should step down, but it's his team. He can do whatever he likes with it and if it means going down with the ship, then he'll go down with the ship. Haha. Al Davis ftw.

Al Davis should not step down, because he is the clear face of the Oakland Raiders franchise.
He should hire a new offensive coordinator and a new GM, though...

He definately is the face of the franchise. I think what he should do is just be the figurehead of the team. No offense to Al Davis or any Raiders fan but he still thinks its the 1970's. The Raiders have been in a spiral for a while now. If he could get some fresh faces in there, they could become a solid franchise again

Linebackers? Tight End? Are you insane? They have an up and coming Tight End in Zach Miller. As for Linebackers, Thomas Howard and Kirk Morrison are good young up and coming linebackers. Two of the best in the league in my opinion. What they need more is a defensive line. Sapp is going to retire and all they'll have is Burgess.

Zach Miller has bad hands, isn't isn't a good blocker at all. And Howard and Morrison as two of the best in the league?...not in my opinion. Their linebackers can't orchestrate the defense to make big plays. They give up many 10-20 yard passes, and 10-20 yard runs. I'll give the Raiders props for a very good secondary though.
