She is helping Orihime out all the time. Sometimes it even seems like she knows Orihime likes Ichigo. When she came back from Soul Society, the first thing she did was made Ichigo say sorry to Orihime and then left them both alone. I don't know.justa random thought.. sweatdrop

Its just that Rukia and Orihime are very good friends and she made Ichigo say sorry cause that Ichigo was kinda losing it O_O and Orihime got hurt and it was SORTA his fault and yes it does seem that Rukia knows that Orihime likes Ichigo. (who doesn't =_=)
maybe she wants to try and get a little 3's company action going on. Rukia looks like she could be into that kind of thing. Heck i wouldn't be surprised to see her, ichi, and renji in a 3's company shot.
