A lot in my life has happened that is testing my mental, physical, and emotional strength. I'm fed with with the violence and immoral sexual acts that frequent my teenage world. On friday, December 28th a kid from my high school was killed. He was shot while at a party. He was only 18. Then there was this other kid who was a football player. He was only 15 and he died of a heart attack that friday. His death shocked a lot of people since he was pretty much perfectly healthy. He was in my friend's PE class. I didn't know any of the kids that died, but I've been thinking that we could use these tragedies to give us courage and strength to fight for what the youth of this nation deserve! The youth of this nation need to know that there is a loving God out there. They need better health care, better education about sex and abstinence. My best friend was raped not that long ago. We need more places and people that encourage us not to do drugs. We need better violence prevention programs! We need a change in the media so that the media portrays more positive, responsible things. We're tired of walking around like zombies and seeing our friends act like zombies because of their grief. We're tired of hearing about who got raped, who got drunk when, and who got stoned recently! WE'RE FED UP AND I DON'T THINK WE CAN TAKE ANY LONGER! Please God, and please friends, help me change this. I've been through all of this and I'm only 14. Because of this, I always get this feeling where it feels like my chest has pressure on it and its only going to collapse in on itself. Please pray for me and those around me.

I agree that the youth in today's society are, for the most part, lost. I'll be sure to keep you and those around you in my prayers.

I completely agree. Where I live, it's all about who had sex with who, who got drunk/stoned, and football is reall big here, like in most of Texas, so we have at least one death or near death because of the horrible summer conditions that we have along with the relentless practices from the coaches. I will surely pray for you, yours, and the world.
