WHEN THE HELL IS A TEAM NOT LOOKING TO DO THAT How can you say such a thing? John Madden is one of the most respectable and know people in all of sports, and represents the NFL. He's a Hall of Famer, icon, and broadcaster. Yes, he's old, and states the obvious at times, but why degrade a man who's trying to dumb down the game for newcomers to the game...?

Why would you not accept his insight on the game as a broadcaster and former coach/player, let along punch him in the mouth...?

They didn't know what they were talkign about most of the time, they fooled around, they made mistakes, they got way off-topic, they brought on pointless celebrity guests with no connection to football, and they clearly favored one team over the other in games. gonk ...Good thing that MNF moved to ESPN with a better group. I actually don't think you can get much better than John Madden + Al Michaels.

ANSEM IS ALIVE hes annoying sometimes but oh well what can anyone do about it Well...Thats why Madden has been the commentator, while Al Michaels is the play-by-play guy. ...Madden just dumbs down the game for people who are new to the NFL or football in general.
