Bright cerulean irises scanned the browning landscape with the usual cheerful grin adorning his maw, a light bounce in his step as he meandered across the empty, barren field. There wasn't much that seemed to be able to dampen his mood lately, what with his heart finally out in the open about certain things, and having visited his mother for the first time in quite a while. Pausing to take in the sight of the dead leaves scattered about the bare tree trunks, Nahuel noted that it was cold enough to snow, now- and he hoped it would soon. It would be his first winter, and he could hardly wait to play in the snow.

Pausing to shake the dry leaves from his long azure mane, the stallion stifled a slightly bored yawn as he looked to the position of the sun on the horizon. It was barely past midday, and he hadn't really found anything to do, or anyone to converse with... but he wouldn't let that ruin his day. Smiling brightly to himself with a determined nod, he continued on down the worn dirt path, seeming to sway to a cheerful tune that only he could hear as he walked.
