She had told Rogue and she had told her parents... And now came the other important part; telling the father of the foals. It was about time he knew, after all. She was getting round enough for it to be noticeable which meant that the foals would be arriving soon.
Things had been... Almost picture perfect. They had met. They had flirted. They had teased, tormented, aggravated and annoyed... But wasn't that how all relationships were supposed to be? When it all boiled down it came to one simple thing; she enjoyed Kai's company... And now, like it or not, he was going to be a part of her family.

For kai this had also been a almost perfect picture. He met another whom he could openly share himself with... -all- of himself. Maybe a little too much, if that.
Today though he was drinking out of a small puddle that had collected from the rains, it was the closest water source at the moment so it would have to do.

Upon spotting the striped stallion she smiled brightly, trotting up to bump her shoulder playfully against his while attempting to n** lightly at his ear. "There you are... And here I'd thought you'd take advantage of my absence and try to disappear."

If a horse has the lungs to purr, he would be right now. "heeey Darl." He nuzzled the side of her face back with his own in return for the nipping.
He smirked and lowered his head for one last drink before lifting it with the same smirk, his muzzle still wet. "If i wanted to leave do you think ide be standing here next to this beautiful young mare? Dont tempt me now~" He snorted laughingly, adding the last part as a joke.

"Beautiful, young... I like the sounds of that." She continued to smile as she leaned her head lightly against his neck. "Are you still going to call me beautiful when I start putting on more weight than I already have, Kai?"

Kai might think he was smart, but at the same time.. he can be a bit naive at points as well. "Of course i will, Weight? Eating one too many pine cones recently?"

"Mm... Nope. I haven't been eating any pine cones." She nuzzled his neck. "I've been spending too much time with this very attractive stallion... And now I'm carrying his foals."

"If not that then maybe bark-...." The male stared at her for a second, takeing a chance to let it sink in he went from her belly, to her eyes, anck back down to the belly. it -did- look a little more plump then the last time he saw her... "...you sure its not the water?" He replied in a small tone, eyeing her more.

"The water sure is making -my- stomach feel weird, hope i dont start popping out munchkins too. Im fat enough as is." He was still in enough shock as is but.. DAMN! Foals! Whod have.. thought... jesus up until two moons ago he didnt even know Kizuka. But now theyd be parents... jesus poor foals. Backing up he nudged her stomach lightly with his nose.

Snorting he rolled his eyes "you sure its not gonna be the OTHER way around?" Kai Nibbled on her mane a little before speaking again. "Either way, Maybe i should get some practice in for these old bones~ Shall we?"

"What? Me needing to run more?" Her brow lofted slightly. "I'll do running to work off this belly after the foals are born... For now shouldn't you be spoiling me and making sure I stay happy?"

"One needs to stay fit if they wish to have a healthy life, and for our sake, birthing. Dont want anything to happen to you or the lives your carrying." He nodded almost sage like.... but then..." Or would you rather i start calling you pumpkin, darl?" He grinned broadly at her.
