"Ah. So a Blood Feud involving all clans and class?" Admittedly, his knowledge of the human world was limited to what he had studied in order to escape that first time and that wasn't much. He had studied a bit more but that was just the basics in how to speak and how to make sure he didn't give away what he was. That humans had Blood Feuds was something new; he'd thought...well...he never really had given much thought to it.

Obediently his hand removed from the tapestry and he continued to study it closely. "I would be correct in guessing you do not have protective spells on it, yes?"

"Not...not quite, but close enough." He was vaguely familiar with the idea of a blood feud, but he didn't think that's quite the same as war. Quite. "No, we do not. Magic doesn't really exist here, and even if it did the church considers it to be a heresy."

That caused Sol to laugh. "Magic? Heresy? Oh Jerome..." He shook his head, still chuckling softly. "If this church of yours only knew..." It was all to terribly amusing. They worshiped a being of magic...yet considered magic heretical. The irony was so thick he idly wished Einan was there so the Seven dammed fairy would get sick and if not die at least get badly hurt. "I should like to learn more of the beliefs of this church of yours. Especially if they are all this amusing."

Jerome shrugged it off. The ironies he found were different from the ones Sol was seeing now, but they were still just as poignant. Sols laugh had come as some surprise to him, though a pleasant one, and brought a smile to his lips.
"That will come in time, I'm sure," he said, continuing to lead Sol to his room.

In the back of his mind, Sol almost wished Rio could be there too. Not that he really missed his twin. In fact he didn't miss him at all, but he knew the other incubus would love learning about this place. Would also love killing the other humans here so it was best he stay safe in the Sh'kiahaar.

"Hmm. And how much time." Watching the priest moving in front of him and the subtle movements of his hips, Sol felt that familiar rush again and his inner brat decided to come out. He pressed closed against Jerome's back and whispered in his ear. "Will I receive private lessons?"

Almost instantly he was enveloped in the other's scent and pure instinct made him bury his nose against Jerome's neck, inhaling deeply and unconsciously nuzzling the soft skin there.

Jerome stopped dead, eyes wide with shock. He stumbled over some words, but they slipped form him and he gave up. He smelled of soil, sunlight and sudden, quick lust. No matter how much the priest had theorized and postulated about this, it was nothing compared to the real thing.

Smelling the priests lust kicked Sol's instinct into full gear. His mouth opened and sharp fangs scraped across the delicate flesh of Jerome's neck as his hands pressed flat against his stomach, pulling him back and flush against the young incubus.

Sol quickly became in the heady scent and intoxicating taste of his prey. Something niggled the back of his mind, something that was warning him against this but he shut it off. It was ok if he indulged once in a while, particularly with a treat this tasty.

Showing the self-restraint he was raised to have, Jerome froze and tried to pull away from his captor.
"Sol, this isn't, I'm not...I can't..." He brought his voice to a low hiss, "Not here. Mon dieu, not here." He had his ears straining for the sounds of footsteps, doors, or any other form of life in the halls.

Sol's eyes were glowing brightly, his fangs almost fully elongated and visible as he watched Jerome in much the same way a predator would watch it's prey; tense, alert, ready to pounce at the slightest movement.

It might have ended badly had Jerome not said those two words in French. They cut through the haze clouding Sol's mind, his eyes widening as he gasped, both from the reaction to hearing them, as to his own appalling lackof control.

Jerome became very aware of the heat from the incubus' body burning against him, the press of his fingers and the arms that held him. He let out a soft, quiet groan, leaning his head back slightly against Sols shoulder.
