And power-hungry Slytherin loved those of great ambition...|> ---|As promised. I got the idea from Wingo in the "I Saw Gaya Hats!" thread, I think it was.
Discuss: thread revival, appreciation threads, "for" threads, ridiculously long polls.|--- <|Slytherin Pride!

That you did! Thread revival is so much fun! whee So cool dragging up past discussions and re-invigorating them!
Have you noticed that in the past 2 or 3 days we've both more or less dominated these forums? You can't go into an active thread without seeing multiple back and forth posts between us...
Hmmmm.... you forgot to add in plot divulging sessions into the discussion list... I demand it, or I shall divulge a plot against you!!

I'll take that to mean there has been a sudden rush of activity after we've been dead so long?

It's been awesome. ^.^ I usually page-dominate anyway, but actually having someone to talk to while I do so has been splendid.

It's spelled "tyre" over here. (Australian English, Jeoc.)

And power-hungry Slytherin loved those of great ambition...|> ---|Wow, that won't end well.
Imagine; half the words will have an extra letter 'u', some of them will be spelled with a 'z' at the end and some with an 's', and don't even get me started on vocabulary differences!
...Oh, wait. That'll just make it like normal English, only bigger. Never mind.|--- <|Look, it's a walking, talking paradox!

And power-hungry Slytherin loved those of great ambition...|> ---|A (usually) belittling/derogatory term for English that has been badly translated from another language (usually Japanese). Called "Engrish" because of the way that bad Japanese/English translations usually feature an 'r' instead of an 'l' in most words due to the lack of an 'l' in the Japanese alphabet. (So "English" becomes "Engrish", "lovely" would be "rovery" - pronounced "ruv-ree" - and words like "election" are suddenly awkward to say, as was demonstrated to comic effect on a Japanese-made banner supporting former US President Carter during his election campaign.)|--- <|Look, it's a walking, talking paradox!
