A law was just passed in California saying that Transexuals can use their restroom of choice, whichever they're more comfortable. Of course, alot of people took this law and blew it out of proportion, saying ANYONE could use the restroom of choice.
What confuses me is, the world is trying so hard to make everyone happy, but every law they pass, more and more people are forced with discomfort. Think how strange it would be to be walking into a public restroom, and the member of the opposite sex was stepping out of a stall. A little awkward I'd think. I say, let them get their sex change THEN let them use the restroom of their current gender. It really is vague, too, because anyone can pretend to be a transexual, and most will try to use that as an excuse...
Thoughts, anyway?

hmm... quite strange indeed.
I agree with you in that, after a sex change, transsexuals should use the bathroom of their current gender. If they want to take on the body of that gender, one would think they should also be comfortable using the bathroom of the gender they have adopted.
Another thing; why was this bill even proposed? is it illegal to use the wrong bathroom? if so, WTF?
