She shook her head, jagged bangs in her tropical blue eyes. She trotted along in the sand, the oceans waves crashing against her hooves, it was a soothing feeling. Her father had brought her here many times as a filly, he tried...She sighed, and looked into the waters for a moment before it curled back.
The youngest daughter of Benoni and Kila, Anemone felt like she was almost alone in the world. Besides her father and Zari she felt cast aside, her sister was mute..her mother had doted on her..She closed her eyes, it still hurt a bit to be cast aside because she wasnt, wasnt what? Maybe she'd been the broken one..

It had been... a long time since he had last set his hooves on these sands. It surely brought memories, coming here to play as a colt, charming the mares as a young, immature adult... 'Good thing age teaches precious things, heh?' Ciardha thought, shaking his braided white and golden mane off his eyes. The sea was so peaceful, it was all so peaceful, good for thinking. And much thinking had been in order on the stallion's life. However, he'd been left with a major question mark. What now?
It was like an answer from heaven, the sight of the young alicorn. 'Why, meet new aquaintances, why not?' It was starting over, after all... Ciardha just wished he wouldn't scare her or something, softly walking to her, though leaving a good distance not to make her uncomfortable. One never knew with mares...

The sound of another caughter attention, ears perked up she brought her eyes up to rest on the stallion, she took a deep breath. She was as skittish as cattle after a cougar attack, but she was trying to break away from being like that.
She shook out her long curled locks of ebony and creamy orange, she lowered her head in a respectful bow, lifting her head she smiled. "Hello.." She called out as she made her way towards him now, it'd be rude to ignore him and run away.

Oh, nice! Company! Solitude is a dreadful thing when for many moons straight, it was time to start breaking that cycle, to come back home. Yeah, that's what he had told himself to return... Now, to test it... "Oy, no need to bow missus, makes me feel kinda prematurely old. Biting ain't part of my greeting committe either, so dun be scared!" he said cheerfully, smilling softly. 'Smooth, Ciardha, now the poor gal'll be running for the money...'

She giggled softly, well, that was deffinately a most interesting reply. "Im Anemone, and I didnt mean to make you feel old." She stopped a few feet away from him, shifting her wings.
"I havent seen anyone out here before, usually its deserted." She shifted her weight on her hooves, the sand shifting under them. Like her father, it made her uneasy slightly. Her gaze shifted from the handsome stallion to the ocean, it seemed like a storm was rolling in. She prayed it didnt rain.

She was still there! Hooray!! Last thing Ciardha wanted was to scare off others without intention. Sheesh, there were pranks for doing that! "Anemone, pretty name for a pretty mare, yessir... M'name's Ciardha, nice to meet'cha! Back on the days when I was a youngin, we came here to race on the sand and water, colts showing off, really. Now I make myself feel old, oy... Like I'm some oldbie, heh." He chuckled, shrugging. Plain helpless, he was... "Whatcha doing out here alone though, Anemone? Ya seem too young to be already thinkin' about life..."

"Its a pleasure to meet you Ciardha." She smiled softly at him, oh he was an interesting one. She was possitive she'd never met anyone like him before, her tail swayed out behind him as she thought.
"Your not old, thats impossible." Her ear flickered slightly as she pondered his question. "I guess you can say of my childhood.." She got a sad smile on her face. "What are you doing out here hmm?"

"Somethin' like that too. Well, a bit more, since mah moon count is a lil' bigger than yours. Ya see, I went for a trip to the other lands and, well, kinda stretched it for a good while. Still, I got homesick, like anyone away for too long, and so, here I am. Revivin' the memories on this here beach. From the good, to the bad, to the very bad. Darned youth rashness..." One of those instant flashbacks caught him by surprise, spacing out for a split second. To wave it off, Ciardha shook his head, a shiver running down his spine. "So, why are ya meditatin' on your childhood? As I said, ya seem freshly out of it..."

"Life is full of bumps and bruises as well as hidden rainbows, you have to take the rainy greys to get to the beautiful warmth of the sun's rays..." She wasnt 100% sure where that had came from, or if it really meant anything, it just seemed to come out.
She smiled softly, did she really look that young? Zari was always telling her that she worried to much, that it made her look old, she giggled softly before she shook her head. "I guess just why my mother did what she did.." She sighed.

"Ain't that poetic..." Ciardha smiled. "To look for happiness 'stead of waitin' for it to come. Difficult, but rewardin' quest, that is..." Those were words one wouldn't expect from a young mare. But then again, who sees faces doesn't see hearts. Physical age was a fickle thing, and he knew it well. Mind doesn't always follow body. He's expression shifted to one of light worry at her following words. "Something happen?"
