Aedel was wandering. The newly-grown unicorn didn't have much idea of what to do with himself lately. As an adult, apparently one was expected to not frolic and play around with one's siblings anymore. Who knew?
But what WAS he supposed to do, then? He had no idea. So far he'd settled for just this: wandering the edge of the forest trying to look like he knew what he was doing, and attempting to look vaguely regal. The truth was, he was bored.

Gemma held no stock in being an adult meant being serious. In fact, she was still the same as ever - the ever-bleeding heart that went out of her way to help anyone that she could. She was still very close to her brothers and always had been. The family was close-knit and likely wouldn't change if she could help it.
Raphael had always been her best friend, but Aedel - the soft spoken elder brother - always made her smile. Seeing him loitering by the forest perked her attention and she got up from lounging in the grass and trotted toward the unicorn, "Aedel?" she asked as she stopped in front of him and butted his shoulder tenderly with her head, "You okay?"

"Oh!" Aedel blurted out, surprised, as Gemma spoke. He'd apparently been zoning out a bit. At the sight of his sister, he smiled. "Gemma! Hello."
At her question, he tilted his head curiously. "What? Oh, yes, I'm fine!" Shuffling his hooves a bit, an old habit from when he was a colt, he looked up at her shyly. "Why do you ask?"

"Because you look lost or something," she said with a smile before butting at him again, "And you've been acting a bit more awkward than usual. Wanna tell me what's up?" He had always been the shy of the group but he had been kind of...off lately? Maybe Gemma was just being paranoid but she did tend to pick up on things easier.
And she was still a bit awkward herself. Not used to the adult body she now inhabited. Young adult, still, but no longer a filly. It was an odd thing - and she couldn't do things as easy now. Especially when it involved picking through hard to reach places.

"Oh. I was just thinking," the unicorn replied, looking sheepish. "I've been kind of bored lately, you know? Nothing important." he assured her, pawing at the dirt with a foreleg anxiously. He didn't want Gemma to worry about him.

Gemma? Not worry? Ha! Anyone should be that lucky. The female just worried about everyone and everything without regard for herself. Made herself sick sometimes. But for the moment she'd take her brother's word for it.
"If you're bored, find something to make you not bored. Go meet other Soquili, go romping through the stream, sit and talk to your dear ol' sister. Just because we're not little anymore doesn't mean we can't play and be close."
