Ok, the apple of my eye, Qiwi, is having babies....a lot....like a little bunny...so I need to give away her mate gonk We don't have enough money to fix him and my mom said that the only way to get him fixed is to have someone else pay for it emo
ANYWAYS
I'm keeping her with her daughter ((no name as of yet)) Is she going to be ok? She's really bonded to me...but I still don't know....

Okay, I am going to be honest with you here. I am really sorry but I do NOT know. They MIGHT be okay with each other, Qiwi and daughter, but maybe not. And what about Qiwi's mate? How will he handle it? Gliders are usually VERY bonded to their mates and therefore I very strongly recommend against splitting them up if there is ANY other way.
Please understand, I am not saying this to be mean or pick on you, just trying to find a way for the suggies to be happy. I wonder if we might find another way to solve this problem? For instance, the babies... have you been able to sell any of them for an adoption fee, or just give them away free?
If you could even get part of that perhaps you could find away to raise the rest to get the boy fixed? I am not sure how much exotic vets charge where you are... have you called and checked? My ********* neutering cost me a pretty penny... $100... but I went to the best place I could find because I was so paranoid.
Do you have any CDs or old toys you could sell for the fixing money? Or chores you could do? Maybe if your Mom knows you are willing to WORK for it she will cut you a break.
Do you have a talent? Can you make jewelry to sell? or make costumes for halloween? Or babysit? Let people in your neighborhood know WHY it is important to you and they may be more willing to pay. Let those adorable glider faces work in your favor!
Another possibility, and this one may be too sad... do you know anyone willing to take Qiwi AND her mate who COULD afford to get them fixed and you just keep the daughter?
I dunno... just some ideas. Maybe none of that will work. If so then, you just hope for the best... being related doesn't always make them friends. This I know. My clan HATED their baby Plice, and he them! But they LOVE each other, and Plice is GREAT friends with his non-related cagemate, Icarus. You just never know.
Anyone else have any insight? redface
