I keep getting "blemishes" around my pubic area...sometimes I get strange cuts and open wounds. I don't shave, and I don't know why they are there. Any ideas? Could I have a disease, or is it just ingrown hairs?

It's common to get ingrown hairs and pimples down there from time to time even if you do not shave. However, the cuts and open wounds part sounds a little strange. I would suggest showing them to an ob-gyn, especially if you are sexually active.
