Dear Turn Zee Music Up Baby! Guild Member,
This is a newsletter that is being sent to every guild member, this is will not be a weekly letter but a letter will be sent ever now and then to explain what is going on with the guild or if there is a big event in the guild. Also we are considering making a news letter for the guild, to explain if something is going on in the guild or if we are doing any major changes that would be sent around monthly or weekly so you will be aware of all the small contests in the guild were you can win gold and such. They would not be long letters like this one they will just be a small list of reminders. Mostly like you will have to sign up for that. There will be an announcement about that later on.
Contents- list of all open sub forums and a description of what goes on in the section, new contests inside the guild, Mods, Creating your own subfourm, Important info,guild partners.
Current Sub-forums (topics)
Music- This is a large sub-forum currently the largest in the guild, it has about 3-4 pages of different topics and artist to discuss. And anyone is welcome to create more whether it is about your favorite artist or anything that has to do with the subject of music. If you do create a new forum please check to make sure that one has not been made already. There is a sticky located at the top of the page that has each topic and is linked directly to the topic. All repeated forums will be deleted to prevent confusion. =)
Games- We have a game section that has games in session right now! There are games that you can win prizes on. Any one is welcome to create a game as long as it dose not brake any rules. If you choose to make a game if you want to give out prizes to winners of the game then it will be your responsibility to give them the prize not the guild which is stated in the rules. I hope you have fun =)
Movies/TV/ Anime- This section has a sections for different movies which anyone can create a forum about there favorite movie unless it is already made. There is sections were you can talk about different genres that you like. There is a special forum were you can talk about movies that are still in theaters or will be coming out soon. Also this is were you post anything about anime whether it is about a show or a book. Also you can talk about any show if the show is not like a teenager show and more of a mature show you may still talk about it as long as you keep your post appropriate and there is nothing bad In your post then you are more then welcome to post about that show. Questing /Vending/Dream avatars- This is a helpful section to people who are questing or looking to sell things or get opinions on quests or any advice in the market place. We have avi contests for- Current avis, Dream avis (were you use tektek and can use anything on there ), And last but not least we have Themed Avatar contest were you use tektek and create an avi that corresponds with the current theme of the week. We try and make the contest every week depending on how many people participate in the contest. You can win prizes on certain avi contest. It is not a competitive contest it is a contest were you’ll have fun. Hope you like this and good luck for when you enter =)
Debates- In here you can express your opinions on all appropriate topics. Everyone’s opinions is wanted. Note: there will be people who have different opinions then you so to participate in this topic you must be open-minded and respectful if you do not think you will be able to do that then I do not recommend this sub for you. Although you must compose yourself in that manner in the entire guild but it is very important in this sub forum since you are dealing with other peoples thoughts or beliefs.
Books/Poetry/Literate Section- In here you can post about any books. We ask that you be literate since it is reading section. We encourage everyone to submit there poetry please always put your name on your work. When submitting your poetry please just title the forum the name of the poem. You’ll be able to get feed back on your work also. We make forums by the book titles if you want to talk specifically about that book. If you want to talk just about an author then please make a forum just for him.
Art/Photography/Graphic- This section you can post any type of art as long as it is appropriate. If we have people submitting art we could have art contest with a prize of course hehe. Once again please put your name on what you submitted just to be on the safe side. Also you can just discuss art in general too. =)
Monthly Collectables-This section was specifically created to talk about current, past, and possible future MCs. Any thing about M C’s is allowed in this forum have fun!!
Contest-
Post it- At the end of September who ever has the most post inside the guild. Post that are actual words not just emotions. Will win 500 gold this contest was originally for the month of august but was changed so that more people would be aware of it. All you have to do is post and have fun and follow the Gaia Tos . If you have the highest amount you will win 500 gold. Just a fun little game to win some gold on so please have fun ! Mods are cant play sorry sweatdrop
Duck Duck Goose- This is were I will be posting randomly in the guild with special instructions on what to do to win a prize. I will always title it Duck Duck Goose so you will know. ex Nikki1512 says: who ever is the first person to post on page 10 will win 2k. Ex2: who ever can unscramble this word will win 1k word ouldc. It will be simple things but it depends on your speed and who gets there first. I hope you have fun this will start on Monday.
Themed Avi Contest- A new contest will start this Monday. We will need all the submissions in by Tuesday night. If you would like to submit your avi please send Nikki1512 the img code and post that you wanna join and i will add you to the list of contestants. This weeks theme will be you can only were MC’s you use tektek to make your avi by the way. The winner will receive a small prize at the end of the contest.
Current Avi Contest- Also starting on Monday the current avi contest will start this contest is for what you have on your avi now you are not allowed to use tektek. To submit yourself in this contest you must show a mod the avi that you are submitting to make sure it is from your inventory only. Please send the img link to Nikki1512. You must have your entry in by Monday night and voting will start on Tuesday and will last 7 days. The winner will receive a small prize at the end of the contest.
Mods- we are always looking for new mods. To become a mod you must be active you must have at least 50 posts and you must have donated at least 500 gold to the guild. Unless you are have a special position in the guild. Ex. A person who makes the banners you would not need to have the 500 gold because you have a special job inside the guild. If you are intersted int he being a mod but do not have 50 posts yet wink please snd nikki1512 a pm so we can be aware that you want to be one.
Your own sub forum- This was brought up and is being considered and will be discussed with other mods first so we do not have a date for this or a definite answer. This may or may not happen. If it did happen it would be on the lines of this. One person to start chosen either from a contest or who ever we think has a good idea for a sub. Will have to pay for the sub forum and they will be able to pick a topic and such. You will have a set of rules that you made up. That still follow the guild rules. All rules would have to be ok’ed by a mod or myself. You would have to pay a fee every mouth or so to keep that sub forum. Even though you create that sub forum you still would have to follow the rules and still can not over say a mod or the captain. Also failure to comply with the guild rules or if it is causing a problem then the subwill be shut down. And you will not be refunded. Im not sure about this it may be to much to do right now but we will keep you updated on this.
Important- we do have a rule on people who are not active in the guild. We have been really nice about it so far, hoping once we get more people and more topics and such. We now have 8 subfourm and a minium of 2 contest that will always be int he guild and 2 random contest in the guild as of right now. We ask everyone who is apart of the guild to post it will earn you gold by posting and you will meet new people as you post and just have fun. It will be a big help to he guild and we will really appreciate it. So please stay active inside the guild.
Guild partners- we are always looking for new guild partners it is were you post each others banners on the guild home page it helps both guilds so if your guild or a guild that you are apart of would like to become a guild partner please send nikki1512 a message.
